Choice Privileges is selling points with a bonus of up to 40% through November 26, 2026. The bonus grows with the size of your purchase, and the offer may vary by account, so log in to see yours before you buy.
Deal Details
On accounts showing the top offer, the tiers work like this:
- Buy 1,000 to 5,000 points: no bonus.
- Buy 6,000 to 9,000 points: a 30% bonus.
- Buy 10,000 to 13,000 points: a 35% bonus.
- Buy 14,000 points or more: a 40% bonus, which works out to as little as 0.74 cents per point.
The sale runs from November 2 through 11:59 p.m. ET on November 26, 2026. You can buy up to 180,000 points per account per calendar year, not counting the bonus. The offer may differ from one account to the next, so the tiers you see could be different from the ones above. Purchased points post to your account within 24 hours and do not count toward Choice Privileges elite status.
How to Take Advantage
- Log in to your Choice Privileges account and open the buy points page to see which bonus you're offered.
- Pick an amount that lands in the tier you want. The 40% bonus needs a purchase of at least 14,000 points.
- Choose your card. Purchases go through Points.com, so they won't code as a hotel or travel purchase. The exception is a Choice co-branded card, which earns hotel-spend rewards on these purchases. Otherwise an everyday spending card is the better pick: the Capital One Venture X and Capital One Venture earn 2x miles, and the Chase Freedom Unlimited earns 1.5% cash back. Our comparison of the Capital One Venture and Venture X covers how those two cards differ.
- Complete your purchase by November 26, 2026.
Why This Deal Matters
Choice points are commonly valued at about 0.6 cents each, so even the 0.74-cent best case here costs more than a typical point is worth. Choice has also run better sales this year, including one in July that priced points as low as 0.57 cents each. That makes this a sale for a stay you already have in mind, where the points rate is well below the cash rate, not for buying points on speculation.
If you're only a little short for an award, Choice now lets members send points to each other with no fee, and our article on Choice Privileges points sharing covers how that works.
Conclusion
Buy if you have a specific Choice stay in mind and the bonus on your account puts you where you need to be. Skip it if you'd be buying points with no plan for them. Check your offer, pick the tier that matches the points you need, use an everyday earning card, and finish the purchase before the sale ends on November 26, 2026.
