Key Points

  • The IHG One Rewards Business Credit Card has a $200 annual fee and a launch offer of 190,000 bonus points after $5,000 in purchases in 3 months, through November 18, 2026.
  • It includes automatic Platinum Elite status, 15 Elite Night Credits each year and an Anniversary Free Night at hotels up to 50,000 points.
  • It earns 5X on travel and office supply stores through December 31, 2026, after which 5X travel covers only flights booked with the airline and car rentals.

The IHG One Rewards Business Credit Card costs $200 a year and comes with automatic IHG Platinum Elite status, 15 Elite Night Credits every year and an Anniversary Free Night worth up to 50,000 points. Chase renamed it from the IHG One Rewards Premier Business card when it refreshed the IHG lineup, and the new version adds hotel dining vouchers, an airline credit and an Expensify credit.

It's the business card for someone who stays at IHG hotels for work and wants Platinum without paying $350 for the personal Premier Select. Chase's launch offer, through November 18, 2026, is 190,000 bonus points after $5,000 in purchases in the first 3 months. Here's what you get, what the fee buys back, and where the earning rates change on January 1, 2027.

The Welcome Offer

Chase's launch offer for new cardmembers is 190,000 bonus points after you spend $5,000 on purchases in the first 3 months from account opening. You also get 10,000 bonus points after you add an employee card in the first 3 months, paid once no matter how many employee cards you add. Chase says to allow 6 to 8 weeks for the bonus to post to your IHG One Rewards account.

You can check the current IHG One Rewards Business Card offer before you apply, since Chase notes that offers vary by where you apply and change over time.

How the Card Earns

At IHG hotels, the card earns 10X, and Chase advertises up to 26X in total once you add the 10 points per dollar IHG pays members and the 6 extra points per dollar that come with Platinum Elite. Those IHG points need a stay booked through a direct IHG channel such as ihg.com. Candlewood Suites, Staybridge Suites, IHG Army Hotels and IHG Residence properties pay IHG members lower base rates, so the 26X figure doesn't apply there.

Away from IHG, the categories are:

  • 5X at gas stations, on dining (including takeout and eligible delivery) and on social media and search engine advertising.
  • 5X on travel and office supply stores, through December 31, 2026 only. From January 1, 2027, travel narrows to airline tickets bought directly from the airline and car rental agencies. Other travel and office supply purchases drop to 3X.
  • 3X on everything else.

That January change matters if you book hotels outside IHG or buy office supplies in bulk. Through the end of 2026, those purchases still earn 5X. From 2027 they earn 3X.

Status and Elite Night Credits

Platinum Elite is automatic for as long as you hold the card and your IHG One Rewards account stays in good standing. Chase says to allow 6 to 8 weeks after account opening for it to appear.

The Elite Night Credits are new with the refresh, and they count toward IHG elite status and Milestone Rewards. You get 15 within 6 to 8 weeks of opening the account, then again by February 1 each year, and only 15 in total no matter how many IHG cards are linked to your account. On top of that, you earn 2 Elite Night Credits for every $5,000 you spend, with no cap.

Spend $25,000 in a calendar year and you also get 5 more Elite Night Credits and 20,000 bonus points.

From January 1, 2027, spending $50,000 in a calendar year earns Diamond Elite for the rest of that year and the next.

Free Nights

Each year on your account anniversary you get an Anniversary Free Night at an IHG hotel with a redemption level of 50,000 points or less. You can add your own points to book a hotel above that level. It has to be used, with the stay completed, within 12 months of issue.

Spend $60,000 in a calendar year and you earn a second Free Night with the same 50,000-point cap. The card also includes IHG's fourth night free on Reward Night stays of four or more consecutive nights at the same hotel. It doesn't apply to paid stays or Points & Cash bookings.

The Credits

Chase says the card offers over $750 in value in the first year. Each credit only pays out if you use it, so it's worth reading the terms on each one:

  • Up to $100 a year in IHG Food & Beverage Rewards, as a $25 voucher each calendar quarter. Each voucher expires at the end of its quarter and has to go on the room bill of a reservation in the primary cardmember's name.
  • A $100 airline statement credit each calendar year after you spend at least $250 on flights bought directly from an airline, through December 31, 2027.
  • Up to $100 a year in Expensify statement credits for purchases made directly with Expensify.
  • Up to $120 every four years toward a Global Entry, TSA PreCheck or NEXUS application fee.
  • A $10 Instacart credit each month, up to $120 a year through December 31, 2027. It needs an active Instacart+ membership. The card includes 3 months of Instacart+, which then renews at $99 a year unless you cancel.
  • A year of DashPass, activated by December 31, 2027, after which you're enrolled at the monthly rate. New DashPass enrollees from September 1, 2026 also get up to $10 off a non-restaurant DoorDash order each month through December 31, 2027.

Say you stay at IHG hotels once a quarter, use each $25 dining voucher and buy one $250 flight from an airline in the year: that's $200 back, which covers the annual fee before you count the free night. If you'd only use one or two vouchers, the free night has to do more of the work. If the credits fit how you already travel, get the IHG One Rewards Business Card and the Platinum status comes with it.

Fees and Protections

The annual fee is $200, and the purchase APR is 19.49% to 27.99% variable. There are no foreign transaction fees. Purchase Protection covers eligible new purchases for 120 days against damage or theft, up to $10,000 per item. Trip Cancellation and Interruption Insurance reimburses up to $1,500 per covered traveler and $6,000 per trip for prepaid, nonrefundable fares.

How It Compares With Chase's Personal IHG Cards

Chase's comparison page lists the personal IHG One Rewards Premier Credit Card at $150 with automatic Gold Elite, and the IHG One Rewards Premier Select Credit Card at $350 with automatic Platinum Elite. The Business card sits between them on price and matches Premier Select on status.

If you have a business and want Platinum, the Business card is the cheaper route. If you don't, the Premier is the $150 option and Gold is the trade. Our rundown of Chase's IHG card refresh covers what changed on each card.

Who Should Get It

Get the IHG One Rewards Business Card if you run a business, stay at IHG hotels several times a year and will use the quarterly dining vouchers. For $200 you get Platinum, 15 Elite Night Credits and a 50,000-point free night each year. Apply for the IHG One Rewards Business Card while the 190,000-point launch offer is listed.

Skip it if your IHG stays are rare. The vouchers expire each quarter, and from 2027 the card's 5X travel category narrows to flights booked with the airline and car rentals. A flexible points card will serve you better.
