When she's not behind the counter or in a book, she's usually in wine country. France mostly, Spain and Italy when she can stretch the trip. She writes the single-card reviews and the wallet-strategy guides, always starting from the terms rather than the marketing page, and she'd rather tell you a card doesn't suit you than talk you into it.
