It's targeted, so not every cardholder has it, and it only counts once you activate it.

The wording says "total" points. For comparison, Chase's card terms say grocery store and dining purchases that post by December 31, 2026 earn 3 points per $1 (2 points after that), gas stations earn 2 points and everything else earns 1, so check your own email for how the offer describes the extra points.
How to Take Advantage
- Search your inbox for a Chase email offering 10X total points on your Aeroplan Card.
- Activate it from the email, or on Chase's Spend and Get page, which asks for your last name, the last 4 digits of your card and your ZIP code.
- Put your grocery, gas and restaurant spending on the card through December 31, 2026, up to $1,000.
Why This Deal Matters
The cap keeps it small, but it's easy points on spending you'd do anyway. Say you spend $1,000 at the grocery store between now and the end of December. At 10X total, that's 10,000 points, against 3,000 at the 3 points per $1 Chase's terms list for grocery purchases through year-end.
The card's own promotion runs to the same date: Chase's page lists 500 bonus points for every $2,000 you spend in a calendar month, up to 1,500 points a month, until December 31, 2026.
