The best all-inclusive resorts for a points traveler aren't always the ones topping glossy lists. They're the ones a hotel program will actually let you book with points, at a price you can see before you transfer anything. Five big programs now do that: World of Hyatt, Marriott Bonvoy, Hilton Honors, IHG One Rewards through Iberostar, and Wyndham Rewards through Alltra.

They don't work the same way. One covers food and drink for two people and charges for the third, one leaves the meal plan to each hotel, and one prices by the bedroom on a fixed chart. Picking the wrong program for your party size is the most expensive mistake in this corner of the hobby.

This guide covers how each program handles an all-inclusive award night, then the resorts worth your points, grouped by who's traveling, with what each owner says is included and how to book it.

How All-Inclusive Pricing on Points Works by Program

The short version: Wyndham publishes a fixed price list, Marriott and IHG write the guest rules into their terms, and Hilton sets out its rules on its all-inclusive page. Here's what each owner's own page said when we read them on October 5, 2026.

World of Hyatt and the Inclusive Collection

Hyatt's Inclusive Collection has 11 brands, and the brand tells you who the resort is for. Hyatt Zilara, Secrets, Breathless, Hyatt Vivid, Impression by Secrets and Zoëtry are for adults. Hyatt Ziva, Dreams and Sunscape are family brands, and Bahia Principe and Alua run both. The booking box on the Inclusive Collection site has a Use Points option, so you can search award nights there.

Bahia Principe is the newest piece. Hyatt said on March 25, 2026 that World of Hyatt members can earn and redeem points at participating Bahia Principe resorts, more than 20 hotels in the Dominican Republic, Mexico, Jamaica and Spain. The same release splits the brand into Bahia Principe Escape for adults and Bahia Principe Explore for families, and it refers to award chart participation "where applicable."

What's included depends on the brand. Under its Endless Privileges package, Hyatt lists à la carte dining, top-shelf spirits, 24-hour in-suite dining, a twice-daily refreshed minibar, and all taxes and gratuities, with the note that services may vary by resort. Check the resort's award category on World of Hyatt before you move points. Our Hyatt all-inclusive points guide goes deeper on earning the balance, and the World of Hyatt Credit Card earns straight into it.

Marriott Bonvoy and All-Inclusive by Marriott Bonvoy

Marriott's terms are the clearest of the five on who an award covers. An award stay at one of its all-inclusive resorts "covers the cost of the all-inclusive package," including the standard room, room tax, service charge, resort fee and standard food and beverage, "for up to two people." Extra-person charges for a third or fourth guest are a separate fee, and Marriott asks you to give the correct number of guests and children's ages.

The points price isn't fixed. Marriott says it varies by resort, room type, length of stay and time of year, and is "updated continuously." All-inclusive resorts take part in Stay for 5, Pay for 4, so a five-night points award under one reservation charges points for four nights.

That offer covers Standard and PointSavers points awards only; Marriott's rules exclude Free Night Awards from it, though you can apply a Free Night Award to a night at these resorts on its own. Award stays have to be booked on Marriott.com, the Marriott app or by phone, and Marriott doesn't offer Cash + Points or upgrade awards at these resorts.

Marriott says its package includes accommodations, food and drinks, Wi-Fi, entertainment, non-motorized water sports, kids' activities, taxes, service fees and gratuities. Spa treatments, transportation, excursions, motorized water sports and select food and drink items cost extra.

Hilton Honors All-Inclusive

Hilton's all-inclusive page says booking with Hilton Honors Points gets you its all-inclusive member benefits and "there are no additional fees when you book using Points." Those benefits include early check-in and late checkout for all tiers, as available.

Hilton's package covers all drinks and meals, on-site entertainment, fitness facilities, non-motorized water sports, daily activities, Wi-Fi, and all service fees and gratuities. Spa services, off-site tours, airport transfers and on-site shops aren't included unless the resort says otherwise. The points price is whatever hilton.com shows for your dates, so search them before you plan around a number.

IHG One Rewards at Iberostar

IHG's member terms are the ones to read slowly. "Occupancy, room type, and meal plan configurations for Reward Nights at all-inclusive resorts will vary by brand and hotel." At Iberostar, members may be charged for guests not on the original reservation and pay any local or conditional taxes or fees. IHG's terms also say Reward Nights don't include food and beverages, "with the exception of all-inclusive properties."

IHG sorts Iberostar into three lines: JOIA by Iberostar for adults only, Iberostar Selection for families and couples, and Iberostar Waves for families and couples too. Our IHG and Iberostar guide covers earning, elite perks and the IHG cards.

Wyndham Rewards at Alltra

Wyndham publishes its price list on its redeem page. Free nights cost 5,000, 15,000, 30,000 or 45,000 points per bedroom per night, and Wyndham says there's "no dynamic pricing or increases based on seasonality." Wyndham moved to those four tiers on September 15, 2026 and redistributed hotels across them, so check which tier your resort sits in when you search.

Say an Alltra resort sits in the 30,000-point tier and you want three nights in one bedroom. That's 90,000 points. Wyndham's all-inclusive page says members can redeem points for free and discounted nights at its all-inclusive resorts, but confirm what the award night includes at the resort before you book.

Best Adults-Only All-Inclusive Resorts on Points

Hyatt Zilara Cancun (World of Hyatt)

An adults-only resort in Cancun's Hotel Zone, between the Nichupte Lagoon and the Caribbean. Hyatt finished a full renovation in May 2026: 310 suites redesigned, every one of its 12 dining venues reworked, a new Italian restaurant and a reservation-only speakeasy. The Inclusive Collection site has a Use Points search; check that this resort shows a points rate for your dates.

Secrets Playa Mujeres Golf & Spa Resort (World of Hyatt)

An adults-only, all-suite Secrets resort in the gated Playa Mujeres community, which Hyatt puts 35 minutes from Cancun International Airport. Hyatt reopened it after a renovation in January 2026. Hyatt says guests get complimentary access to the family-friendly Dreams Playa Mujeres next door, which is useful when one group in your party has kids and one doesn't. The Inclusive Collection site has a Use Points search; check that this resort shows a points rate for your dates.

Hyatt Vivid Punta Cana (World of Hyatt)

Hyatt opened it on August 31, 2026 in Cabeza de Toro, the first Hyatt Vivid resort in the Dominican Republic. It's adults-only, with 467 rooms and suites, five à la carte restaurants, an international food hall, a bar and grill, and seven bars and lounges serving top-shelf spirits. The Inclusive Collection site has a Use Points search; check that this resort shows a points rate for your dates. Our Punta Cana on points guide compares it with the other Punta Cana resorts you can book on points.

Almare, a Luxury Collection Resort, Isla Mujeres (Marriott Bonvoy)

Marriott tags Almare as adults-only and lists it among its luxury all-inclusive resorts in Mexico. It's an award booking under the rules above: the package for two adults, with points that vary by date. If you'd rather stay on the mainland, Marriott also tags Paraiso de la Bonita in the Riviera Maya as adults-only.

Amare Cancun Adults Only All-Inclusive Resort, Curio Collection (Hilton Honors)

Hilton lists Amare in Cancun with seven restaurants and bars, direct beach access and four pools. It's the adults-only option on Hilton's all-inclusive page, and points bookings carry no added fees, according to Hilton.

Wyndham Alltra Playa Del Carmen, Adults Only (Wyndham Rewards)

Wyndham describes an adults-only resort in the Riviera Maya with oceanfront pools, international restaurants and a full-service spa, steps from Fifth Avenue. Wyndham prices it on its per-bedroom tiers, so find which tier it sits in before you plan around a number.

Best Family All-Inclusive Resorts on Points

Bahia Principe Explore Esmeralda, Punta Cana (World of Hyatt)

Hyatt named this beachfront Punta Cana resort as a Bahia Principe pick when the brand joined World of Hyatt. Hyatt describes renovated rooms including swim-up categories, Mongolian and Taíno specialty restaurants, and a kids club and water park. Hyatt says points work at participating Bahia Principe resorts, so confirm this one takes points for your dates.

The Westin Playa Vallarta, an All-Inclusive Resort (Marriott Bonvoy)

On Marriott's family-friendly list, in Marina Vallarta near the airport. Marriott describes 281 redesigned suites, six restaurants and four outdoor venues, tennis, pickleball and padel courts, and entertainment "for guests of all ages." Remember the two-person line on a Marriott award: a third guest is an extra charge.

Turtle Beach, Barbados, a Tribute Portfolio All-Inclusive Resort (Marriott Bonvoy)

Marriott calls Turtle Beach an all-suite, all-inclusive family hotel on Barbados' south coast, with complimentary water sports. It's the Caribbean family option outside Mexico and the Dominican Republic on this list. Book the award on Marriott.com or the Marriott app, and remember the package covers two guests.

Hilton Tulum Riviera Maya All-Inclusive Resort (Hilton Honors)

Hilton lists 13 restaurants and bars, eight pools, a family area and daily cultural activities. Hilton's family resorts run kids and teens clubs, and its package includes the clubs. Search hilton.com with points for your dates. For more on the area, see our Tulum all-inclusive guide.

Iberostar Waves Cozumel (IHG One Rewards)

IHG's page for this Cozumel resort lists six restaurants, four bars, three outdoor pools, a spa and a dive center close to the reefs. The all-inclusive plan covers buffet meals, unlimited specialty dinners, drinks, a daily-restocked minibar, an hour a day of non-motorized water sports, Star Camp for kids and a nightly show. Check what the Reward Night's meal plan covers before you book.

Wyndham Alltra Samaná (Wyndham Rewards)

Wyndham calls this resort on the Dominican Republic's northeastern coast all-ages, with unlimited dining and drinks and daily and nightly entertainment. Because Wyndham prices by the bedroom, a family sharing one room prices the stay per bedroom, not per person.

Best All-Inclusive Resorts on Points Beyond Mexico and the Caribbean

Bahia Principe Escape Tenerife (World of Hyatt)

An adults-only resort in the Canary Islands that Hyatt lists with all-inclusive or half-board options, plus a 48-room club section with its own infinity pool. Confirm you're booking the all-inclusive plan, since half board is also sold, and confirm the resort takes World of Hyatt points for your dates.

Iberostar Selection Anthelia, Tenerife (IHG One Rewards)

On Fañabé Beach in Costa Adeje. IHG's page lists six pools, including three children's pools with slides, five restaurants and three bars. All-inclusive is "available" here alongside half board and bed and breakfast, which is exactly why IHG's meal-plan clause matters: check which plan the Reward Night carries.

Aulus Lindos Rhodes Resort, Curio Collection (Hilton Honors)

Hilton lists this Rhodes resort on its all-inclusive page with six restaurants and bars, two pools, a kids club and a spa. It's the Greek island option you can book with Hilton points. For more European chains, our all-inclusive resort chains guide compares Ikos, Club Med and others.

JW Marriott Costa Elena Resort & Spa, All-Inclusive (Marriott Bonvoy)

New on Marriott's all-inclusive page, on Costa Rica's Costa Elena coast, with ocean-view rooms and suites. Marriott says the dining and activities follow JW Marriott's focus on mindful service, well-being and nourishing cuisine. It's a Marriott Bonvoy award booking under the two-guest package rules.

How to Choose the Right All-Inclusive on Points

Start with your party, not the resort. The program that wins for two adults isn't always the one that wins for a family of four.

  • Two adults: every program works. Marriott's award covers the package for up to two people, and Hyatt's adults-only brands are built for this trip.
  • A third or fourth guest: read the extra-person rules first. Marriott charges for guests beyond two, and IHG says extra-person charges may apply beyond double occupancy for guests not on the original reservation.
  • Price certainty: Wyndham's per-bedroom tiers don't change with the season. Everywhere else, search your dates to see the points price.
  • Five nights or more: Marriott's Stay for 5, Pay for 4 applies to points awards at its all-inclusive resorts, not to Free Night Awards.
  • The meal plan: at IHG resorts like Anthelia, all-inclusive is one of several plans, so confirm it before you redeem.

Then pick the destination. We've gone deeper on Montego Bay, Turks and Caicos and the best Caribbean all-inclusives for snorkeling. If you're traveling with kids, our family all-inclusive picks add a few cash options, and our guide to all-inclusive resorts in the USA covers stays closer to home.

What I'd Actually Do

If you're two adults holding Hyatt points, I'd look at Hyatt first: Zilara Cancun or Secrets Playa Mujeres, once each shows a points rate for your dates and you've checked its category on World of Hyatt. If you're already deep in Marriott points, a five-night points award at Almare or Westin Playa Vallarta uses the fifth-night offer, and the package covers two guests, so a third is extra. If you want a price you can plan around months ahead, find your Alltra resort's Wyndham tier and do the per-bedroom sum.

Whichever program you pick, search your exact dates and party size before you transfer a single point.
