Secrets St. Lucia Resort & Spa is a World of Hyatt Category D all-inclusive, and an award night costs 25,000 to 55,000 points depending on the date. Hyatt moved it up from Category C on May 20, 2026, when it replaced its three award price levels with five.
What a Night Costs
Hyatt's all-inclusive chart prices a standard room for two guests at one of five levels, and the level depends on the date you pick. For Category D, the points per night are:
- Lowest: 25,000
- Low: 30,000
- Moderate: 35,000
- Upper: 45,000
- Top: 55,000
Hyatt shows the level for each date when you search, so the spread between a quiet week and a holiday week is the number to check first. The chart prices a standard room, so look up the points price of the exact room type you want before you transfer anything.
There's no single cents-per-point figure that holds for this resort. Divide the cash rate for your own dates by the points price at that date's level, and only move points when the redemption clears the value you place on Hyatt points.
The Resort
Hyatt opened Secrets St. Lucia in June 2025 as the first Secrets Resorts & Spas property on the island. It's adults only and all-inclusive, with 355 rooms on St. Lucia's northwestern coast, close to Rodney Bay Marina, Cap Estate Golf Course and Castries.
Every room has a private balcony, and swim-out suites are available in every building. The resort lists five a la carte restaurants, a buffet, a creperie and tapas spot, a grill, a cafe and seven bars. Tennis, pickleball, beach volleyball, yoga, windsurfing, sailboats and kayaks are part of the package. Horseback riding, nearby golf, catamarans, deep-sea fishing and guided snorkeling cost extra.
Preferred Club rooms add a lounge with daily continental breakfast, hors d'oeuvres and fine liquors, a dedicated beach area, butler service and a separate a la carte breakfast restaurant. If you want those, check the points price of a Preferred Club room on Hyatt's booking page rather than assuming it matches the standard room.
Zoetry Marigot Bay, which Hyatt's Inclusive Collection opened in St. Lucia in 2022, is the other all-inclusive on the island. Price the same dates at both before you choose.
How to Fund the Stay
Two transfer paths matter here, and both are moving to 4:3 for some cardholders.
- Chase Ultimate Rewards: Starting October 1, 2026, points transfer to World of Hyatt at 4:3 on the Sapphire Preferred, Ink Business Preferred, Ink Plus and Corporate Flex cards, so 1,000 Ultimate Rewards points become 750 Hyatt points. Sapphire Reserve cardholders keep the 1:1 rate.
- Bilt Rewards: Bilt transfers to World of Hyatt at 1:1 through December 31, 2026, and moves to 4:3 on January 1, 2027.
That makes Bilt the cheaper route until the end of the year, and Sapphire Reserve the cheaper Chase route. Before You Book
Search your dates on Hyatt first and note the level each night falls in. Confirm award space before you move points. If the dates you want sit in the Upper or Top level, compare them with a shoulder week, since the price climbs at those levels.
Book the lowest level that works for your trip, transfer once you have the dates, and treat any transfer bonus as upside rather than a reason to wait.
