As of October 1, 2026, the Air France KLM Visa Signature card from Bank of America has a limited-time online offer of 70,000 bonus miles plus 100 Experience Points (XP) after you spend $3,000 on purchases in the first 90 days. That offer appears on KLM's Flying Blue credit card page.

Check which offer you're looking at before you apply. Bank of America's own card page shows a different online offer today: 50,000 bonus miles plus 100 XP after $2,000 in purchases in the first 90 days.

Deal Details

  • Limited-time offer: 70,000 bonus miles plus 100 XP after $3,000 in purchases within 90 days of account opening, per KLM's card page.
  • Status: KLM's page says 100 XP equals Flying Blue Silver status.
  • Annual fee: $89.
  • Earning: 3 miles per $1 on eligible Air France, KLM and SkyTeam airline purchases, 3 miles per $1 on eligible dining, and 1.5 miles per $1 on everything else.
  • Each year after: 5,000 anniversary miles when you spend $50 or more in the anniversary year, plus 20 XP on your anniversary. Spend $15,000 in the year and you get 80 more XP (100 total); spend $25,000 and you get another 60 (160 total).
  • No foreign transaction fees.

How to Take Advantage

  1. Open KLM's credit card page and confirm it shows the 70,000-mile offer before you click through to apply. Both pages warn that the offer may not be available elsewhere if you leave the page.
  2. Plan $3,000 of normal spending for the first 90 days.
  3. Apply from that page, not from a search result, so you land on the offer you saw.

Why This Deal Matters

The XP is the part to look at closely. Flying Blue status runs on XP, and KLM's page puts 100 XP at Silver, so the welcome XP alone gets you there. Our beginner's guide to airline miles explains how the three alliances, SkyTeam included, fit together, and our roundup of cards that help with elite status covers the Delta, United, American and Alaska side.

The choice between the two offers comes down to spending. The 70,000-mile offer asks for $3,000 in 90 days; Bank of America's page asks for $2,000. If you'd spend $3,000 in 90 days anyway, take the 70,000-mile offer. If $3,000 is a stretch but $2,000 isn't, the 50,000-mile offer carries the same 100 XP.

This card fits travelers who fly Air France, KLM or SkyTeam and want Silver status. If you don't fly those airlines, an $89 fee for Silver status you won't use isn't worth it. The 70,000-mile offer is limited time, so confirm it's still live on KLM's page before you apply.
