Not by itself. Wyndham's member-levels page, read on October 19, 2026, lists the perks for Blue, Gold, Platinum and Diamond, and free breakfast isn't on it for any tier. Where breakfast shows up is on the brand pages, and it varies by brand and by hotel. If you're picking a Wyndham property for the morning meal, the brand and the property page matter more than your status.
What Each Level Lists
Wyndham's page sets the levels by nights: Blue at enrollment, Gold after 5 nights, Platinum after 15 and Diamond after 40. Blue lists free WiFi, member savings and a minimum of 1,000 points per qualified stay. Gold adds 10% more points, preferred room choice and late checkout on request. Platinum adds 15% more points, early check-in on request, a Caesars Rewards status match and car rental upgrades in the U.S. and Canada.
Diamond adds 20% more points, a suite upgrade at every stay, a welcome amenity and a Gold membership you can gift. Wyndham describes that amenity as a complimentary snack or beverage at select hotels, which is a different thing from breakfast. Our guide to how to earn Wyndham Rewards points covers earning, and our comparison of Insider and elite status covers getting Gold through stays, Insider or a card.
Brands That Advertise Breakfast
Wyndham's brand pages describe breakfast in their own words, and the wording differs:
- La Quinta: "free daily breakfast."
- Hawthorn Extended Stay: "free hot breakfast at many locations."
- Baymont: "free breakfast," with a Baymont Breakfast Corner.
- Super 8, Days Inn and Howard Johnson: "a free breakfast item."
- Wingate: "free breakfast."
- Wyndham Garden: "daily breakfast."
- AmericInn: hot homestyle breakfast served every morning.
Note the qualifiers in that wording, such as "a free breakfast item" and "at many locations." The brand page tells you what the brand aims for, not what a specific hotel serves.
Check the Property Before You Book
Open the hotel's own page on wyndhamhotels.com and check what it says about breakfast before you count on it.
If breakfast matters to the trip, choose the brand first and confirm at the property. Status helps with points, late checkout and upgrades. It won't be what puts eggs on the table.
