All-Inclusive by Marriott Bonvoy is Marriott's group of all-inclusive resorts that take part in the Bonvoy loyalty program. Marriott says one price covers the room, food, beverages, entertainment, taxes, fees and gratuities, and that members can earn or redeem points on qualifying bookings. The points rules aren't the same as at a regular Marriott, though. Some award types aren't offered, an award covers only two guests, and booking through the wrong channel earns nothing.

Here's what the collection covers, how earning and redeeming work, and which elite perks apply. Everything below comes from Marriott's all-inclusive page and its program terms for these resorts (marked updated October 2024), both read on October 26, 2026.

What the Price Covers

Marriott's wording is "Have it all for one price: room, food, beverages, entertainment, taxes, fees, gratuities, and memorable experiences," and it adds that amenities may vary by property. Its FAQ lists accommodations, food and beverages, Wi-Fi, entertainment, non-motorized water sports, a fitness club, kids' activities, taxes, service fees and gratuities.

The FAQ also lists what the package leaves out: laundry, spa treatments, transportation, tours and excursions, motorized watersports and select food and beverage items. Price those separately before you compare a resort with a regular hotel stay.

Where the Resorts Are

Marriott says the collection spans Mexico, the Caribbean, Latin America and South America, in destinations such as Antigua and Barbuda, Barbados, Costa Rica, Punta Cana, Cancun, Puerto Vallarta, Grenada, Jamaica, Saint Lucia and Brazil. The list isn't limited to those. Marriott's page also lists JW Marriott Mount Kenya Rhino Reserve Safari Camp in Kenya among its new all-inclusive experiences.

The resorts sit under several Marriott brands. The page features JW Marriott Costa Elena Resort and Spa, The Pyrmont Curaçao (Autograph Collection, adults only), Turtle Beach in Barbados (Tribute Portfolio), The Westin Playa Vallarta, W Punta Cana and Marriott Cancun. Marriott also keeps separate family-friendly and adults-only resort lists. We covered JW Marriott's first all-inclusive in our Costa Elena opening story.

How You Earn Points

Marriott's terms say members earn 10 base points per U.S. dollar on qualifying charges they pay. Qualifying charges include qualifying room rates, premium food and beverages bought on the property, and spa, golf and other resort-run activities. Charges at food and beverage outlets run by a third party may not earn points. Elite bonus points are added on top of the base points by tier, and each night at a qualifying rate earns Elite Night Credit.

The channel matters. Marriott lists rooms booked through a tour operator, an online travel channel or another third-party channel, booked as part of a package, or paid for with a voucher as nonqualifying. Those stays earn no points or Elite Night Credit, and the guest doesn't get tier benefits. Book through Marriott directly if you want any of it. Points post within 21 days of checkout.

How You Redeem Points

Marriott's terms say you can use a Standard Redemption Award, a PointSavers Award or a Free Night Award for a standard room. Upgrade Awards, Cash + Points Awards and Instant Redemption Awards aren't offered. Award stays have to be booked through Marriott.com, the Marriott app or Marriott's call centers.

  • What an award covers: the all-inclusive package, including the standard room, room tax, service charge, resort fee and standard food and beverage, for up to two people.
  • What it doesn't: extra-person charges for a third or fourth guest, which you pay separately, and other property charges.
  • Price: points per night vary by resort, room type, length of stay and time of year, and Marriott says they are updated continuously.
  • Fifth night: all-inclusive resorts take part in Stay for 5, Pay for 4.

An award stay counts as a qualifying stay for Elite Night Credit. Marriott also notes that stays outside the United States are subject to government approvals and non-hotel taxes and fees, and that a limited number of standard rooms are available for redemption on a limited number of days.

Elite Perks at These Resorts

Marriott's page lists four extras for all-inclusive stays, on top of standard benefits: a weekly cocktail party for all elite members, discounts on premium alcohol and on incidental expenses for Gold Elite and above, and access to exclusive areas for Platinum Elite and above. The terms give the discount range as 5% to 20% and say the incidentals discount doesn't apply to the room charge or third-party vendors. Marriott says perks may vary by property.

Before You Book

If you're paying cash, book directly with Marriott so the stay counts. If you're using points, search your exact dates on Marriott.com, because the nightly price depends on the resort, room and season. If you're traveling with more than two people, price the extra-person charge first.
