The St. Regis Longboat Key Resort opened in August 2024 on Longboat Key, a barrier island near Sarasota on Florida's Gulf Coast. It's a Marriott Bonvoy hotel, so you can book it with points as well as cash.

What the Resort Offers

Coverage of the resort describes direct access to a white-sand beach on the Gulf of Mexico, several outdoor pools, a spa and seven dining options. It's the brand's second Florida property, after The St. Regis Bal Harbour.

How Points Pricing Works

The points price of a night depends on the date and the room, and it moves with the season. Winter is the peak period on Florida's Gulf Coast, and it's when both cash and points prices run highest.

To see what a night costs, search your dates on Marriott's site with the "Use Points" option switched on, then compare the points price with the cash rate for the same room. Our Bonvoy points value guide walks through that comparison.

Ways to Collect the Points

You can earn Bonvoy points on stays and with Marriott's co-branded cards, and you can move points in from a flexible program. Chase Ultimate Rewards is one of them, and our Chase transfer partners guide lists the ratios and timing. Our guide to earning Marriott Bonvoy points covers the other routes, and Marriott sometimes sells points at a bonus, as our Bonvoy points sale article explains.

Before You Book

Check your dates on both sides, points and cash, before you move any points. Confirm the room is bookable first, then move the points. If you're new to the program, start with our complete Marriott Bonvoy guide.
