As of October 1, 2026, JetBlue flies a daily Fort Lauderdale to Barranquilla nonstop, between Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL) and Ernesto Cortissoz International Airport (BAQ) in Colombia. JetBlue is marking the launch with one-way fares from $134 in Main and $234 in EvenMore. Those fares have a short fuse: book by October 2, 2026, for Tuesday and Wednesday travel between January 19 and March 9, 2027.

Barranquilla joins Medellín and Cartagena in JetBlue's Colombian network, and Cali (CLO) is set to follow later in October.

What JetBlue Announced

JetBlue announced the launch in a release on its newsroom on October 1. With Cali added later in October, JetBlue's Colombian network reaches four destinations, and the airline frames the route as part of Fort Lauderdale's role as a connecting gateway to Latin America and the Caribbean.

"Fort Lauderdale continues to grow as an important connecting gateway for JetBlue," said Daniel Shurz, JetBlue's senior vice president of revenue, network and enterprise planning. He added that it connects customers from Barranquilla "not only to South Florida but also to destinations across JetBlue's broader network."

The Schedule and the Plane

JetBlue lists one daily round trip, in local times, and notes the schedule may vary:

  • Flight 1957, Fort Lauderdale to Barranquilla: departs 11:05 a.m., arrives 12:55 p.m.
  • Flight 1958, Barranquilla to Fort Lauderdale: departs 2:05 p.m., arrives 5:56 p.m.

The route runs on JetBlue's Airbus A320. In Main, JetBlue lists free high-speed Fly-Fi, seatback entertainment with live TV at every seat, and complimentary snacks and drinks. EvenMore adds extra legroom, priority security where available, early boarding and dedicated overhead bin space.

The Launch Fares and Their Fine Print

The $134 Main and $234 EvenMore fares are one-way from Fort Lauderdale to Barranquilla, sold only on jetblue.com. JetBlue's terms:

  • Book by October 2, 2026.
  • Travel January 19 to March 9, 2027, on Tuesdays and Wednesdays only.
  • Fares include government taxes and fees. JetBlue says additional baggage fees and other optional charges may apply, and fare rules, including change and cancellation policies, may also apply.
  • Subject to availability.

Read the fare type before you pay. JetBlue now sells Base, standard and Flex versions of Main and EvenMore, and what's included changes with each; our guide to JetBlue's fares lays out the differences. On bags, JetBlue's fares page includes the first checked bag on flights to and from BAQ with Main, Main Flex, EvenMore and EvenMore Flex fares. Base fares aren't on that list, so if you book a Base fare, budget for a bag.

What You Should Do

If you're planning a Barranquilla trip in late January through early March, check the $134 fare now, because the booking window closes October 2. The Tuesday and Wednesday limit is the catch, so pick your dates around it before you go looking.

Outside those dates, you're booking regular fares on a new daily nonstop. If you hold a targeted Amex Offer for JetBlue, read its terms before you book, since it has its own minimum spend and deadline.
