The bonus grows with the size of your purchase:
- Buy 5,000 to 10,000 points and get an 80% bonus.
- Buy 11,000 to 39,000 points and get a 90% bonus.

Purchases under 5,000 points get no bonus, and the purchase limit is 200,000 points before the bonus. Purchased points don't count toward IHG One Rewards elite status. Purchases are processed by Points.com, so they don't count as hotel spending on your credit card.
