Chase's IHG One Rewards Premier Select card offers 200,000 bonus points after you spend $5,000 on purchases in the first 3 months. What that buys depends on where you book, because IHG has no award chart and prices each night dynamically. If a night costs 10,000 points, that's 20 nights before any free ones. If it costs about 100,000, it's two, and some hotels cost more than the whole bonus. The price ranges below are reported award prices, not quotes for a specific hotel.

The Offer

Chase's page calls the card the IHG One Rewards Premier Select Credit Card. The offer is 200,000 bonus points after you spend $5,000 on purchases in the first 3 months from account opening, and the annual fee is $350. Chase says to allow 6 to 8 weeks for the bonus to post. Chase also lists 10,000 bonus points after you add an authorized user in the first 3 months. The card is not available to people who received a new cardmember bonus on it within the last 24 months. Our guide to how Chase refreshed its IHG cards covers the whole lineup.

How IHG Prices Award Nights

IHG has no award chart, so the points cost of a night varies by hotel, by date and by room. Reports put the cheapest nights at 5,000 to 10,000 points and typical high prices near 100,000 points. Some properties cost more than 200,000 points a night. Because the price moves, check the hotel and your dates before you count on a number.

What 200,000 Points Could Buy

Three rough cases, using the reported range and not a quoted hotel price:

  • If a night costs 5,000 to 10,000 points, 200,000 points is 20 to 40 nights before the fourth night free, and more once it applies.
  • Say a hotel costs 25,000 points a night. A 4-night stay there costs 75,000 points with the fourth night free. Two of those stays cost 150,000, and the remaining 50,000 covers two more nights.
  • If a night costs about 100,000 points, the bonus covers two nights.

The Fourth Night Free

Chase's card terms say that for each standard room reward night stay of 4 or more nights, every fourth night is free. It doesn't apply to paid stays or Points & Cash bookings. Chase's page for the $150 IHG One Rewards Premier card lists the same benefit. To use it, book award nights four at a time at one hotel.

The Anniversary Night

Each year after your card anniversary you receive an Anniversary Free Night with a redemption cap of 60,000 points. You can add points on top of that for a pricier hotel. The cap is the most the night alone will cover, so it suits a mid-priced hotel better than a top-end one.

What the Bonus Is Worth

If you value an IHG point at 0.6 cents, the figure one October 2026 valuation uses, 200,000 points is about $1,200 in hotel stays. The card's annual fee is $350, and each year after your card anniversary it adds an Anniversary Free Night capped at 60,000 points. You'll get the most from the points on a long stay in a city where cash rates run high.
