World of Hyatt is handing out free night awards for stays in Latin America and the Caribbean, and the math is unusually friendly. Stay three qualifying nights at a participating resort and you earn one Category 1-4 Free Night Award. You can do that up to five times. Registration closes September 30, 2026, so that is the part to handle now.
What the offer gives you
Register, then stay three qualifying nights at a participating resort in Latin America or the Caribbean between January 1 and March 31, 2027. Each set of three nights earns one Category 1-4 Free Night Award. The cap is five awards, so 15 nights is the ceiling for earning. Nights you book with a free night award count too, not only paid stays, which is unusually generous for a promotion like this.
The awards are not open ended. You have to redeem them by June 30, 2027. Hyatt also asks for two to three weeks after checkout before an award posts to your account.
Two conditions are easy to miss. You must be a World of Hyatt member in good standing both when you register and when you stay. And the stay window sits in 2027, not this year, so a booking you make today pays off next winter.
How to take advantage
- Register on the World of Hyatt offers page before September 30, 2026.
- Book a participating Latin America or Caribbean property for a stay between January 1 and March 31, 2027.
- Keep each stay at three nights or longer, and repeat up to five times if the value works.
Why this one is worth a calendar reminder
A Category 1-4 Free Night Award is one of the better currencies in this hobby. A Category 4 hotel runs 15,000 points on a standard night and 18,000 at peak. The catch is the region. More than 100 properties take part, and most of them are all-inclusives. This works only if a Caribbean or Latin American resort was already plausible for early 2027. If it was not, chasing 15 nights to hit the cap is not the move. If it was, registering costs nothing and the awards stack on top of the points you already earn.
