The Great Points Giveaway gives Hawaiian Airlines World Elite Mastercard holders daily and monthly Atmos Rewards prize drawings from February 1 through December 31, 2026. Every eligible purchase on the card is one entry, and there's a free mail-in option if you'd rather not spend or don't hold the card.
Hawaiian is putting up more than 44 million Atmos Rewards points in all, according to Alaska and Hawaiian's announcement. Here's how it works and whether it changes anything about holding or applying for the card.
What the Great Points Giveaway Pays Out
The official rules at thegreatpointsgiveawaybyhawaiianairlinesmastercard.com set out two kinds of prizes:
- 334 daily prizes of 100,000 Atmos Rewards points each.
- 11 monthly prizes of 1,000,000 Atmos Rewards points plus $3,000 in cash each.
That's up to 345 winners, and each person can win one daily prize per month and one monthly prize during the whole promotion. Cardmembers who live in Hawaiʻi also earn a 50% bonus on points per dollar spent during the promotion, capped at 5,000 bonus points. That bonus is separate from the drawings.
How to Enter
An entry is automatic: each eligible purchase on a qualifying Barclays Hawaiian Airlines World Elite or Business Mastercard that posts within a daily period counts once. You need to be 18 or older, a legal resident of the 50 states, D.C. or Puerto Rico, and an Atmos Rewards member.
No purchase is necessary. You can enter by mail with a handwritten entry on 3" x 5" paper in a hand-addressed #10 envelope with first-class postage, one entry per envelope, with the date written on the envelope. The rules list the mailing address. The rules don't state odds, which depend on how many entries come in for each drawing.
What It Means If You Hold the Card
Put the spending you were going to do anyway on the card, since every eligible purchase is an entry. Spending extra to chase entries is a bad trade against drawings with low individual odds, and the rules say buying doesn't improve your chances of winning beyond that entry.
What It Means If You Don't
The card is offered through Bank of Hawaii and issued by Barclays Bank Delaware, and you apply through the "Apply now via Barclays" button on Bank of Hawaii's card page. Bank of Hawaii lists a $99 annual fee, 3 points per dollar on eligible Hawaiian and Alaska Airlines purchases, 2 points per dollar on gas, dining and groceries, and 1 point per dollar on everything else. Benefits include two free checked bags on eligible Hawaiian and Alaska flights.
The welcome offer on that page is up to 70,000 Atmos Rewards points: 60,000 after $1,000 in purchases within 90 days, plus 10,000 more after $2,000 in total purchases within 180 days. Check the page for the current terms before you apply, because they can change.
Where the Points Go

If you hold the card, use it as you normally would and let the entries add up. If you don't, decide on the welcome offer and the card's own benefits rather than the drawings.
