Flying Blue has delayed its 50% price increase for earning XP through sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) contributions to December 1, 2026. Until then, contributions earn XP at the previous rate of 1 XP per €10.

What Changed

The higher price went live on November 2, when SAF contributions started costing €15 per XP instead of €10. Flying Blue then paused it, and the increase now takes effect on December 1, 2026. Contributions made before December 1 earn XP at the previous rate of 1 XP per €10.

We first covered the change on November 2, while the higher price was live.

What It Means for Status Chasers

If you plan to use SAF contributions to close an XP gap, the previous price of 1 XP per €10 applies to contributions made before December 1. From December 1, the price moves to €15 per XP.
