Delta One Suites are Delta's business-class seats with a full-height door, and Delta says you'll find them on most Airbus A350 and A330-900 flights. Delta says seat configuration can vary by aircraft type and size, so check the aircraft type on your booking and the seat map before you pay. A next-generation suite is also coming to Delta's Airbus A330-200 and A330-300 fleet, Delta says.
This guide covers what's in the suite, which planes carry it, what Delta has announced for 2027 and how to book Delta One with SkyMiles. It's built from Delta's own pages, read on October 15, 2026.
What a Delta One Suite Is
Delta describes the Delta One suite experience as full-height doors and privacy dividers between the center suites, on most A350 and A330-900 flights. The seat is a 180-degree flat bed, most with direct aisle access, with bedding made from recycled polyester and a down-alternative pillow.
Delta also lists in-seat power at every seat, Delta Studio entertainment, chef-curated meals and a wide selection of complimentary beer, spirits and wine. For the pre-flight side, see our guides to who can use the Delta One Lounge and the Delta One Lounges themselves.
Which Planes Have Them
Here's what Delta's aircraft pages say about three planes that fly Delta One:
- Airbus A350-900: 32 Delta One seats on a 306-seat layout and 40 on a 275-seat layout, with a 20.46-inch-wide seat and a 76 to 77 inch flat bed. Delta has 41 A350-900s with 18 more on order.
- Airbus A330-900neo: 29 Delta One seats on a 281-seat plane, with a 22.5-inch-wide seat and a 79 to 80 inch flat bed.
- Boeing 767-400ER: 34 Delta One seats on a 238-seat plane, with a 20-inch-wide seat and a 77-inch flat bed.
Delta says a next-generation suite is coming to its Airbus A330-200 and A330-300 fleet. Seat counts and layouts vary within each aircraft type, so the seat map for your flight is the final word.
Where They Fly
Delta says Delta One is on select long-haul international and domestic routes from key Delta hubs to destinations around the world. The A350-900 flies transoceanic routes between busy airports such as Atlanta to Seoul-Incheon, and Delta moved the A330-900neo onto Atlanta to Buenos Aires in place of the 767-400ER.
Aircraft assignments change with the schedule. Search your dates, look at the aircraft type shown for each flight, and open the seat map before you buy.
What's Changing in 2027
Delta says a next-generation suite debuts on the A350-1000, with flat beds more than 3 inches longer than its standard Delta One seat and 24-inch cinema-quality screens. Delta is adding 20 A350-1000s, with deliveries starting in early 2027.
Delta's refreshed cabin design is coming to more than 800 aircraft over the next five years. Separately, a reimagined Delta One service starts in fall 2026 on Delta One flights from Los Angeles and expands network-wide in early 2027. Our Delta One overhaul article has the dates for the new menu, amenity kits and bourbon.
How to Book Delta One With SkyMiles
Search for your flights on delta.com and pay with miles. Delta shows whether an itinerary includes Delta One as you book, and the fare options are Basic Business, Delta One Classic and Delta One Extra. Delta One Extra can't be booked with miles.
You can also buy a lower cabin and upgrade after purchase with cash or miles through delta.com. Look for the upgrade option on your reservation.
If you pay for Delta fares by card, American Express says the Delta SkyMiles Reserve and Delta SkyMiles Platinum earn 3X miles on purchases made directly with Delta. The Delta SkyMiles Reserve and the Delta SkyMiles Platinum show current rates and fees on their pages.
What to Do Before You Book
Pick your dates, find the Delta One flights and check the aircraft type. If it's an A350 or A330-900, Delta says it's likely to be the suite with a door. If it's a 767-400ER, an A330-200 or an A330-300, open the seat map and weigh that seat against the price.
