Citi Strata Elite cardmembers can claim a complimentary membership to Fashioned, the online cocktail learning platform from Death & Co. It's a partner benefit that Fashioned lists on its own Citi page, and that page is the source for the details below.
What You Get
Fashioned describes itself as an online platform for cocktail education built on the Death & Co and Cocktail Codex books. Fashioned's Citi page lists three areas of content:
- The Fundamentals: the essential tools, techniques and classic recipes behind any cocktail
- Advanced Techniques: infusions, syrups, foams and other modern methods
- Bespoke Content: exclusive tutorials, recipes and stories from the Death & Co community
Fashioned says the platform includes original video lessons, reading material, quizzes and practical tools. It also says it's rolling out a community hub for members and plans in-person events across the country.
How to Claim It
Fashioned's page lays out three steps:
- Click "Unlock Access" on Fashioned's Citi page.
- Enter the first 6 digits of your Citi Strata Elite card to confirm you're eligible.
- Create a Fashioned account.
Fashioned's terms say primary Citi Strata Elite cardmembers and authorized users who are 21 or older must register, and that complimentary access is only granted by enrolling with your Citi Strata Elite card as the payment method.
Is It Worth Having?
Fashioned calls the access complimentary for cardmembers who enroll. The card's own credits and lounge access are covered in our Citi Strata Elite review. For the credits, see our guide to using the Strata Elite statement credits.
Check Fashioned's terms for how long access lasts and what happens if you close the card before you count on the membership for the long term. If you're still deciding on the card, our Strata and Strata Elite comparison shows how the Elite stacks up against Citi's other Strata cards, and you can apply for the Citi Strata Elite from Citi.
