As of October 2, 2026, Blade is bringing back BLADEone, its semi-private jet service between the New York area and South Florida. Blade, a Joby Aviation company, says the seasonal service is expected to run from Thursday, November 19, 2026 through Sunday, May 2, 2027, with flights between Westchester County Airport (HPN) and either Miami-Opa Locka Executive Airport (OPF) or Palm Beach's President Donald J. Trump International Airport (DJT).

The pitch is a private terminal, no long security line and 16 seats on the plane. Here's how it works and what Blade has published on price.

The Route, the Jet and the Schedule

Blade is running BLADEone with Aero, the Los Angeles-based private jet airline. The flights are operated by USAC Airways 695, an Aero subsidiary, on Aero's commercial jet retrofitted with 16 single seats, each one between the window and the aisle. Blade's page puts the flight time at 2 hours 45 minutes between New York and Miami or Palm Beach.

According to Blade's page, BLADEone flies on Thursdays, Fridays, Sundays and Mondays from November through early May, plus extra flights over the holidays.

On board, Blade's announcement lists Starlink Wi-Fi, amenity kits, and dining and bar service from Blade's partners, with Blade's SKYfx team as cabin crew.

Getting There From Manhattan

The flights leave from Westchester, not a Manhattan airport, so Blade sells a helicopter connection. You can fly from Blade Lounge West on Manhattan's West Side and land next to the jet at Westchester, or start at Blade's private terminal lounge at the airport itself. In Miami, the jet uses the lounge Blade shares with Aero at Opa-Locka Executive Airport. In Palm Beach, it uses a private terminal at Trump International.

Bag rules differ on the helicopter leg. On the jet, Blade allows two checked bags up to 100 pounds combined, plus one carry-on and one personal item. If you add the helicopter, the limit is one 25-pound carry-on and one personal item.

What It Costs

Blade's CEO, Rob Wiesenthal, positioned BLADEone "squarely in the white space between a $1,000 first class seat and a $25,000 private jet charter." The BLADEone page lists two Seat Packs for frequent flyers, both showing a Join the Waitlist button as of October 2:

  • 20 Seat Pack: from $2,300 a seat, which Blade describes as $500 off every seat.
  • 10 Seat Pack: from $2,500 a seat, described as $300 off every seat.

Each passenger can bring one dog under 20 pounds for $300, or join the waitlist for the $3,500 Dog Pass that covers a dog up to 20 pounds on every BLADEone flight you book that season. You can switch a booked seat to another flight up to seven days before departure.

Who This Is For

If you split the winter between New York and South Florida, live closer to Westchester than to JFK or LaGuardia, and want to skip the commercial terminal, BLADEone is built for you. If you've flown JSX, the idea is familiar: a small cabin and a private terminal. Our Club JSX guide covers how that airline's rewards work, and our explainer on flights with no TSA line covers how private-terminal screening differs from the airport checkpoint.

Blade expects the service to start on November 19, 2026. The seat-pack waitlists are on Blade's BLADEone page.
