Air France is adding Nashville and San Diego to its U.S. network next summer. The airline has filed schedules for nonstop flights between Paris Charles de Gaulle and Nashville starting May 14, 2027, and between Paris and San Diego from May 2027. Both routes are planned at three flights a week on the Airbus A350-900, which has business class, premium economy and economy cabins.
If you live in Tennessee or Southern California, that's a nonstop to Paris without a domestic connection first, and from Paris a single connection to much of Europe, Africa and the Middle East. It's also a new way to use Flying Blue miles, the Air France and KLM program, which several of the big transferable currencies feed.
The Schedules
Here are the filed times for each route. All times are local, and a filed schedule can still change before the first flight.
- Nashville, from May 14, 2027: AF38 leaves Paris at 2:10 p.m. and lands in Nashville at 4:40 p.m. The return, AF39, leaves Nashville at 6:55 p.m. and reaches Paris at 10:15 a.m. the next day.
- San Diego, from May 2027: AF58 leaves Paris at 10:10 a.m. and lands in San Diego at 12:50 p.m. The return, AF59, leaves San Diego at 3:10 p.m. and reaches Paris at 11:05 a.m. the next day.
Paying With Points
Air France award flights book through Flying Blue, and you don't need an Air France card to build a balance. American Express Membership Rewards, Capital One miles and Citi ThankYou points all list Flying Blue as a transfer partner, and Amex's transfer page shows 1,000 points becoming 1,000 Flying Blue miles. Our guide to earning Flying Blue miles without the Air France card walks through each one.

What to Do Now
If Nashville or San Diego is your home airport and you go to Europe most years, put these routes on your list for summer 2027. Confirm the exact San Diego start date on Air France's site before you plan a trip around it.
Hold your points where they are until you can see award seats on the dates you want. Transfer then, not before, so your points stay flexible if the schedule moves. If your points sit with Amex, Capital One or Citi, you're already set up to book these flights once seats appear.
