Why We Choose It
The Aspire is the Hilton card for people who already stay at Hilton resorts. Amex lists a $400 Hilton Resort Credit paid as up to $200 semi-annually, a $200 Flight Credit paid as up to $50 each quarter, a $219 CLEAR+ Credit and an annual Free Night Reward, against a $550 annual fee, and Hilton lists up to $100 at Waldorf Astoria and Conrad on a two-night minimum stay. Whether those cover the fee depends entirely on whether your travel fits where each credit can be spent, because the resort and property credits are the narrowest of the set.
