Wyndham Rewards is running a 100% transfer bonus to United MileagePlus: 6,000 Wyndham points now convert to 2,400 United miles instead of the usual 1,200. Hotel points rarely make good airline miles, so I don't say this often, but this one is worth a look if you're sitting on a Wyndham balance with no hotel stay in sight. One report lists October 31, 2026 as the end date; another lists the expiry as unknown. If you're going to act, don't sit on it.
Deal Details
- The bonus: double United miles on Wyndham Rewards transfers, so 6,000 Wyndham points become 2,400 MileagePlus miles.
- Increments: transfers go in blocks of 6,000 Wyndham points, and the offer terms say separate transactions aren't combined when miles are calculated.
- Limits: Wyndham's redemption page caps United transfers at 90,000 points.
- End date: reported as October 31, 2026 in one listing and as unknown in another.
- No undo: once you submit the transfer request, it can't be reversed.
- Where to find it: the bonus shows after you log in to Wyndham Rewards and start a United transfer.
How to Take Advantage
- Price the United award you want first, and work out how many miles you're short.
- Log in to Wyndham Rewards and open the airline miles redemption for United MileagePlus. Confirm the bonus shows before you submit anything.
- Transfer only the 6,000-point blocks you need. Remember that you can't reverse it.
Why This Deal Matters
Say you have 30,000 Wyndham points and no Wyndham stay planned. At the bonus rate they become 12,000 United miles; at the normal rate, 6,000. That's the case for this offer: points with nowhere to go, or a United award that's a few thousand miles out of reach.
If you have a Wyndham stay coming up, I'd keep the points for that. A transfer to United is a one-way move, and our guide to earning Wyndham Rewards points shows how many ways there are to rebuild a balance, including the Earner cards. For what the miles can do once they land, see our United MileagePlus guide.
The Cards That Feed It
Wyndham's own site was showing a limited-time offer of up to 100,000 bonus points on the Wyndham Rewards Earner Plus Card on October 9, 2026. The Wyndham Rewards Earner Card and the Wyndham Rewards Earner Business Card earn Wyndham points too. Treat them as a way to build a Wyndham balance over time; don't open one just to chase this transfer bonus.
Who Should Move Points
Transfer if you have a United award picked out and Wyndham points you won't use on a stay. Skip it if your next Wyndham night is already on the calendar. Since one listing says October 31, 2026 and another lists the end date as unknown, check that the bonus still shows in your account before you count on it.
