Wyndham Rewards is running 4X points on stays through January 19, 2027, and the order of operations matters more than the multiplier does. Wyndham's own offer page is explicit: "You must register before booking your qualified stay(s)." Book first and register afterward and the stay doesn't count.
What the offer pays
You earn 4X Wyndham Rewards points on qualifying stays at participating hotels, capped at 15,000 bonus points for a regular member. Wyndham frames that as enough for up to three free nights at more than a thousand of its hotels.
One line in the terms does most of the work: "Multiplier applies to base points only." Wyndham's own example: a stay that would earn 2,000 base points earns 8,000 in total, which is the 2,000 base points plus a 6,000-point bonus.
The ceiling depends on what you hold
Wyndham sets the cap by the kind of member you are:
- Members: 15,000 bonus points
- Insiders: 20,000
- Cardmembers: 20,000
- Debit Cardmembers: 20,000
- Premier Cardmembers: 25,000
Those higher ceilings exist because Wyndham is running separate bonuses inside the same offer. Insiders pick up an extra 5,000 points for staying any two nights. Earner Premier cardholders get an extra 10,000 when they pay for two or more nights with the card. Earner and Debit cardholders get an extra 5,000 on the same two-night condition.
Two separate one-night stays count as well as one stay of two nights or more. You only get one of these extras, though: a cardholder who's also an Insider gets the card bonus, not both.
So the two-night threshold is where this stops being a flat 4X promotion and starts being worth real money to anyone holding a Wyndham card or an Insider subscription.
The dates and the fine print
Registration closes January 15, 2027. Bookings have to be made direct by January 15 as well, and the stay has to be completed by January 19. Wyndham also excludes Super 8 by Wyndham hotels in Mainland China.
How to take advantage
- Register through your Wyndham Rewards account before you book anything.
- Book direct by January 15, 2027: on Wyndham's site or app, through the toll-free reservation line, or at the hotel itself.
- If you hold an Earner card or a Debit card, pay with it for one stay of two or more nights, or for two one-night stays. Insiders need the same stays but don't need a card.
The bottom line
Registration runs to January 15, 2027, and the base 4X applies regardless of stay length, which makes this one of the easier hotel promotions to get value from, as long as you handle the registration step first. For a regular member it's a capped 15,000 points across the whole window rather than a multiplier that keeps paying. For an Earner Premier cardholder willing to put two nights on the card, the ceiling rises to 25,000.
