What Counts and What Doesn't
Starbucks gift cards (physical or eGift) and alcoholic drinks don't count toward the three. Either order ahead in the Starbucks app or on the website, paying with a payment method or preloaded Starbucks card registered to your Starbucks Rewards account, or scan the barcode in the Starbucks app before you check out.
The bonus is only for members who have linked their Starbucks Rewards and Marriott Bonvoy accounts. The terms count only purchases made by a linked member, so link the two at starbucks.marriott.com before you buy.
Worth It Only on Coffee You'd Buy Anyway
The bonus is 100 points, so it won't change a stay on its own. Treat it as a bonus on purchases you'd make anyway.
