Marriott Bonvoy will pay up to 4,500 bonus points for each stay of two nights or more between September 22 and November 22, 2026. Registration is required before your first eligible stay and closes November 13. If you already have a fall trip booked at a Marriott property, this is a couple of minutes of work for points you weren't otherwise going to earn.
What the offer pays
Marriott runs it as promotion WL26. The earn splits in two parts:
- 1,500 bonus points for a paid stay of two nights or more
- 3,000 additional points when that stay is at a resort
A two-night stay at a regular hotel pays the 1,500. The same stay at a resort pays the full 4,500. Both pieces need a stay of at least two nights, so book your stopover for two nights if you want it to earn.
What doesn't qualify
Only stays paid with cash count, so award stays, including Cash + Points bookings, don't qualify. One Mile at a Time's summary of the terms adds two more conditions: your earning preference has to be set to Bonvoy points rather than airline miles, and the bonus pays on only one room per stay. If the extra 3,000 is the reason you're booking, check that the hotel is a resort before you commit.
How to take advantage
- Register for promotion WL26 through Marriott's site before your first eligible stay, and no later than November 13.
- Book a paid rate of two nights or more at a participating property.
- If you're counting on the extra 3,000, check that the property is a resort before you book.
Why this one is worth registering for
One Mile at a Time values Bonvoy points at 0.7 cents each, which it says makes the bonus worth about $10.50 on a regular hotel stay and $31.50 on a resort stay. That's modest, but it costs nothing if you're already paying cash for two nights or more.
The catch is the registration deadline. Marriott closes sign-ups on November 13 even though stays count through November 22, so anyone who waits until the last week of the promotion to think about it will find the door shut. Register now, then forget about it.
