Delta announced a fare sale for Seattle and Alaska flyers on October 6, 2026, and it runs through Thursday, October 8. Delta Comfort upgrades start at $12 round trip on eligible Seattle flights and $1 each way on eligible Anchorage and Fairbanks flights, sale fares included. A separate set of fares for Alaskan SkyMiles Members runs through October 20.
Deal Details
The Seattle sale. It opened at 8:00 p.m. EDT (5:00 p.m. PDT) on Monday, October 5, and runs through Thursday, October 8. Delta is offering promotional fares on all of its nearly 50 domestic nonstop destinations to and from Seattle, including Honolulu, Maui, Kona and Lihue, for travel from late October through March 10, 2027. Delta Comfort upgrades start at $12 on eligible round trips, which Delta's terms put at $6 each way, compared with Delta Main Classic fares on the same flight.
The $1 Alaska upgrade. On bookings made October 5 through 8, you can buy Delta Comfort for $1 each way on eligible trips to and from Anchorage or Fairbanks. Delta's announcement says this covers Delta nonstop flights plus one-stop flights to Tampa, Fort Lauderdale, Miami and Orlando. The fine print is narrower: it says nonstop itineraries originating from Anchorage or Fairbanks. If your trip starts outside Alaska or connects to Florida, confirm the $1 price shows before you pay. The sale also includes fares on select nonstops between Anchorage or Fairbanks and Seattle.
Fares for Alaskan SkyMiles Members. From October 6 through 20, Alaskan SkyMiles Members can book promotional round-trip fares from Anchorage and Fairbanks for travel between October 17, 2026, and May 15, 2027. The destinations are Fort Lauderdale, Tampa, Orlando, Las Vegas, Phoenix, Palm Springs, San Diego, Tucson, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Honolulu, Kauai, Kona and Maui.
The rules. Delta's terms for both upgrade offers require a round-trip purchase and limit them to new revenue bookings on Delta-marketed and Delta-operated nonstop itineraries. Promotional fares are subject to blackout dates, availability and other restrictions, and baggage fees apply.
