Delta will start nonstop flights between Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS) and Northwest Arkansas National Airport (XNA) outside Bentonville on March 7, 2027. Luis Guitart, Delta's regional sales manager in Austin, confirmed the route in a statement, calling it "another example of Delta's continued investment in Austin."
The Schedule
Delta will fly the route on Embraer 175 regional jets that SkyWest operates under the Delta Connection brand. The first flight leaves Austin just before 9 p.m. on March 7, and the return leaves Northwest Arkansas the next morning.
Why Delta Is Adding It
Delta has been adding routes in Austin, including a nonstop to Europe. Our report on Delta's Boston to Venice and Detroit to Athens additions notes that its Austin to Paris nonstop starts March 27. The Bentonville area is home to Walmart's corporate headquarters, and Delta already flies to Northwest Arkansas from other cities, including Salt Lake City.
What to Do Before You Book
