The Citi / AAdvantage Business World Elite Mastercard is offering 75,000 American Airlines AAdvantage bonus miles after $5,000 in purchases within the first 5 months of account opening. The annual fee is waived the first year, then $99, and it's going up. Here's what the offer includes and what to check before you apply on American's card page.

The Offer

You earn the 75,000 miles after you or your employees spend $5,000 in purchases within the first 5 months of account opening. It's a limited-time offer.

The bonus isn't available if you've received a new account bonus on this card or on the CitiBusiness / AAdvantage Platinum Select in the past 48 months.

The Fee

The annual fee is $0 the first year, then $99. Citi has announced that both the business card and the Platinum Select card go to $150 on January 24, 2027, with new benefits added. Our report on the Citi AAdvantage fee increase has the details. If you open the card now, your first fee comes after the free year, so plan on $150, not $99.

What the Card Earns

You earn 2 AAdvantage miles per $1 on American Airlines purchases, telecommunications, cable and satellite providers, car rentals and gas stations. Card spending also earns Loyalty Points toward elite status. Our guide to how employee cards earn their own Loyalty Points explains the setup.

The card also gives you and up to 4 companions on the same reservation a free first checked bag on domestic American flights. A companion certificate for domestic travel comes after $30,000 in purchases in a cardmembership year, once you renew.

Who It Fits

The $5,000 in 5 months suits a business that already spends on gas, telecom or car rentals. If your business spending is lighter, a smaller bonus with an easier requirement may fit better. It's a limited-time offer, and offers can differ by where you apply, so check that the application page shows 75,000 miles before you apply.
