Some Capital One business cardholders have a targeted offer in Capital One Business Travel: $200 off a stay or car rental booking that costs $500 or more, booked by December 31, 2026. It has shown up on one Spark Cash account and not on another, so check yours today.

- The minimum: $500 or more, and the offer's terms say taxes and fees count toward it.

- Who gets it: it's targeted, so you'll only see it if Capital One put it on your account.
The Rules That Can Cost You the Discount
- Cancel and it's gone. Once the discount is applied, it won't move to another reservation, even if you cancel the booking it was used on.
- No past bookings. It can't be added to anything you booked before the offer started.
- Pay through Capital One Business Travel. The discount only applies to payments made there, and your Capital One account has to be open and in good standing.
- It doesn't stack by default. The terms say travel offers can't be combined with other offers unless the offer says so.
How to Take Advantage
- Sign in to Capital One Business Travel at businesstravel.capitalone.com and look for the offer on each business card you hold.
- If it's there, pick a stay or a rental car that comes to $500 or more with taxes and fees.
- Book by December 31, 2026, and only book a reservation you expect to keep.
Not the Same As the Venture X Business $500 Credit
This is a different offer from the Venture X Business $500 travel credit we covered on October 1, which is for eligible existing Venture X Business cardholders, needs $3,000 in Capital One Business Travel bookings and ends December 15, 2026. The $200 discount here is a single booking of $500 or more, on whichever business card Capital One targeted, through December 31. If you hold a Venture X Business, check for both.
Why This Deal Matters
If you hold the Spark Cash Plus, a portal booking also earns more than the card's usual rate. As of October 12, 2026, Capital One's page lists 5% cash back on hotels, vacation rentals and rental cars booked through Capital One Business Travel, against 2% on everything else, with a $150 annual fee. Who Should Book
Book if the offer is on one of your business cards and you have a stay or rental of $500 or more coming up that you won't cancel. Skip it if you'd be booking travel just to use it.
