As of October 1, 2026, eligible Capital One Venture X Business cardholders can earn a $500 Capital One Business Travel credit by spending $3,000 on Capital One Business Travel bookings by December 15, 2026. Capital One announced the offer on September 30 to mark the card's third anniversary, and it's for existing cardholders only.

If your business already books trips through the Venture X Business portal, this is a $500 credit for travel you were probably going to buy anyway. If it doesn't, the question is whether $3,000 of bookings before mid-December fits your plans.

Deal Details

  • The offer: a $500 Capital One Business Travel credit.
  • What you have to do: spend $3,000 on Capital One Business Travel bookings.
  • Deadline: December 15, 2026.
  • Who qualifies: Capital One says the offer is available only to eligible existing Venture X Business cardholders, and it calls it a limited time offer.
  • Started: September 30, 2026.

The same release also lists a fourth night free at select Premier and Lifestyle Collection hotels when you book a stay of at least four nights through Capital One Business Travel.

How to Take Advantage

  1. Before you book, confirm with Capital One that your card is eligible. The release says the offer is only for eligible existing Venture X Business cardholders.
  2. Put $3,000 of business travel bookings through Capital One Business Travel on the Venture X Business by December 15, 2026.
  3. If a trip runs four nights or longer, look first at the select Premier and Lifestyle Collection hotels where Capital One lists the fourth night free.

Why This Deal Matters

The Venture X Business already comes with a $300 annual travel credit for Capital One Business Travel bookings and a 10,000-mile anniversary bonus, against a $395 annual fee. The anniversary offer runs through December 15, 2026.

Portal bookings also earn well on this card: 10X miles on hotels and rental cars and 5X miles on flights and vacation rentals booked through Capital One Business Travel. Say you have a $3,000 conference trip on the calendar for November; booking it through the portal instead of directly earns the higher rate and puts you on track for the $500 credit in the same move.

The tradeoff is the usual portal one. If you'd normally book hotels direct to earn elite nights and hotel points, moving $3,000 into the portal gives some of that up. Our guide to Capital One transfer times covers the airline and hotel partners your miles can go to outside the portal, and our Amex Business Platinum vs. Venture X Business comparison sets the card's benefits against its closest rival.

Conclusion

This is for current Venture X Business cardholders with business travel to book before December 15, 2026. If you can route $3,000 of real trips through Capital One Business Travel by then, confirm your card is eligible and book. If your travel is done for the year, skip it. If you don't hold the card yet, this offer is for existing cardholders; the Venture X Business page has the current welcome offer.
