As of October 1, 2026, Frontier is selling Frontier Miles with a bonus of up to 150%, and the sale runs until 11:59 p.m. ET on October 23, 2026. The full 150% applies when you buy 10,000 miles or more in a purchase. At that tier, the cost works out to 1.08 cents per mile, against 2.69 cents with no bonus.

The Bonus Tiers

The bonus depends on how many miles you buy:

  • 1,000 miles: no bonus
  • 2,000 miles or more: 100% bonus
  • 5,000 miles or more: 120% bonus
  • 10,000 miles or more: 150% bonus

You need to buy at least 2,000 miles to get any bonus at all. The largest single purchase is 50,000 miles before the bonus.

Say you buy 10,000 miles. The 150% tier adds 15,000, for 25,000 miles in your account. Buy 9,000 instead and you drop to the 120% tier, so if you're close to 10,000, the extra 1,000 miles is worth pricing out.

How to Buy

  1. Sign in to Frontier's miles store on Points.com with your Frontier Miles number.
  2. Buy 10,000 or more miles in a purchase for the full 150%.

Purchased miles are nonrefundable, so buy only what you plan to use.

When Buying Frontier Miles Makes Sense

Buying miles makes sense when you've already priced a specific Frontier award and the miles come out cheaper than paying the cash fare. It's rarely worth it as a stockpile. Our guide to when buying miles and points actually works runs through that test step by step.

Frontier has also been changing how members earn. Its recent Elite Diamond and cardmember earning changes are worth reading if you're weighing purchased miles against flying or spending your way to them.

If you have a Frontier trip priced and the award needs miles you don't have, buy 10,000 or more before 11:59 p.m. ET on October 23. If you're buying because 150% sounds like a lot, wait until you have a trip to price.
