As of October 2, 2026, Alaska Airlines' Atmos Rewards program is selling points with a targeted bonus through October 19. The version of the offer seen on October 2 pays an 80% to 100% bonus, depending on how many points you buy. Because it's targeted, the bonus your account shows after you log in may differ, so check yours before you plan around it.

Deal Details

The tiers in that version of the offer:

  • From 5,000 points: 80% bonus
  • From 15,000 points: 90% bonus
  • From 30,000 points: 100% bonus

Points cost 3.5 cents each before the bonus, plus tax. At the 100% bonus, that comes to 1.88 cents per point, tax included.

You can buy up to 100,000 points per transaction. Members without elite status can buy up to 150,000 points in a calendar year, while elite members have no annual limit.

How to Take Advantage

  1. Log in to your Atmos Rewards account.
  2. Open the Buy link on Alaska's buy, share or gift points page, which takes you to the Points.com storefront.
  3. Check which bonus your account shows, then choose an amount inside the tier you want.

Why This Deal Matters

A bonus on purchased points only pays off when you have a specific award in mind. Say an award you've already found costs 60,000 points and you hold none. At a 100% bonus, buying 30,000 points gets you there, so the real question is whether the price of that purchase beats paying cash for the same trip.

Who Should Buy

This is for Atmos Rewards members with a priced award and a shortfall the bonus covers. If you don't have a booking in mind, skip it. The offer ends October 19.
