Introduction
Bilt Rewards added Spirit Airlines as a transfer partner on December 17, 2025, at a 1:1 ratio, becoming the first loyalty program to transfer points to Spirit's Free Spirit program. That partnership has ended. Spirit isn't on Bilt's transfer partner list as of October 1, 2026, and Spirit said it began an orderly wind-down of its operations on May 2, 2026. The rest of this guide is the record of how the partnership worked and what it was good for.
How the Partnership Worked
Bilt announced Spirit as a 1:1 transfer partner on December 17, 2025, with transfers in increments of 1,000 points. Bilt's current rules for its other partners: a 2,000-point minimum for Blue members and 1,000 points for Silver, Gold and Platinum, in 1,000-point increments, and once points are transferred, they can't be reversed.
Free Spirit Award Pricing at Launch
When Bilt announced the partnership on December 17, 2025, it said Spirit award flights started at 2,500 points with no blackout dates on reward seats. Its example was Atlanta to Orlando from 2,500 points, or from 9,000 points in Spirit's Premium Economy.

Bilt's current airline partners, per its partner page: Atmos Rewards (Alaska Airlines and Hawaiian Airlines), Avianca LifeMiles, United MileagePlus, Air France-KLM Flying Blue, Virgin Red, Virgin Atlantic Flying Club, Emirates Skywards, British Airways Executive Club, Cathay Pacific, Turkish Airlines Miles&Smiles, Aer Lingus AerClub, Iberia Plus, Air Canada Aeroplan, TAP Miles&Go, Southwest Airlines, Japan Airlines, Qatar Airways Privilege Club and Etihad Airways. Spirit isn't on it.
The Honest Verdict
For Bilt members, the Spirit transfer has ended. Bilt's value story still rests on its hotel partners and its long-haul airline transfers.
If you hold Bilt points and want a short domestic or Caribbean hop, look at the airlines on Bilt's current list, such as Southwest, United or Atmos Rewards. Bilt recommends confirming award space with the airline before you transfer, since transfers can't be reversed.
