On January 5, 2027, BWH Hotels will launch WorldHotels Rewards, which brings Best Western Rewards and the existing WorldHotels Rewards together for 70 million members. The company announced the move on October 27, 2026, as part of a plan to put more than 4,000 hotels across 18 brands under one masterbrand, WorldHotels, and its release says points never expire and members keep their existing points value. BWH Hotels is bringing more than 4,000 hotels and 18 brands under a single loyalty program and a global masterbrand, WorldHotels. The portfolio spans 100 countries. WorldHotels CEO Larry Cuculic said in the release that many travelers only know a portion of the portfolio, and that connecting the brands, loyalty program and digital tools under one masterbrand makes the company easier to understand.
The release also describes a new WorldHotels website and a redesigned mobile app. At its core is a discovery platform built from more than 10,000 hours of insights gathered from hotel teams around the world. Members can manage bookings, track rewards and redeem points through the WorldHotels Rewards app and online.
What the Release Says About Points and Benefits
The new WorldHotels Rewards consolidates Best Western Rewards and WorldHotels Rewards, with 70 million existing members combined. It introduces three streamlined membership tiers. BWH Hotels says it's protecting all current benefits, and it names status matching, member rates and points that never expire as examples.

The release says WorldHotels Rewards members can earn and redeem across a portfolio of brands, including the ones below. Everyday travel covers BW Signature Collection, Best Western Plus, GLō and Best Western.
SureStay Hotels and SureStay Collection are the value brands. Executive Residency, @HOME by Best Western and SureStay Studio cover longer stays.
Individual property identities, signage and iconic flags will remain unchanged, according to the release.
How the WorldHotels Collection Fits
The upscale and luxury hotels will be grouped under WorldHotels Collection, which has six categories: WorldHotels Luxury, WorldHotels Elite, WorldHotels Distinctive, WorldHotels Crafted, WorldHotels Backdrop and WorldHotels Residences. The release says the collection is expanding in some of the hospitality industry's fastest-growing categories. WorldHotels Residences combines private homeownership with luxury hospitality services and brand affiliation. WorldHotels Backdrop connects travelers with destinations where immersive natural settings and elevated accommodations converge.
