The best time to apply for a Marriott card has been during an elevated Amex offer window, and those windows have landed in spring and late summer. Marriott's own credit card page shows the Brilliant jumping from its standard offer to 185,000 points in spring 2025, to 185,000 again in August and September 2025, and to 200,000 points in spring 2026. Right now, Brilliant is at 150,000 points plus a $250 statement credit and Bevy is at 125,000 plus a $150 credit, both ending September 30, 2026.

I pulled the history from archived copies of Marriott's card comparison page going back to January 2025, and checked every current offer on Amex's and Chase's own pages on September 26, 2026. Here's what the pattern looks like, card by card, and what I'd do with it.

What are the Marriott card offers right now?

These are the live offers as of September 26, 2026, read on the issuers' pages:

  • Marriott Bonvoy Brilliant American Express Card ($650 annual fee): 150,000 bonus points plus a $250 statement credit after $6,000 in purchases in the first 6 months. Amex says the offer ends 9/30/2026.
  • Marriott Bonvoy Bevy American Express Card ($250 annual fee): 125,000 bonus points plus a $150 statement credit after $5,000 in purchases in the first 6 months. It also ends 9/30/2026.
  • Marriott Bonvoy Business American Express Card ($125 annual fee): 100,000 bonus points and 1 Free Night Award after $8,000 in purchases in the first 6 months. The Free Night Award covers a redemption level up to 50,000 points. Amex says this one ends 11/4/26.
  • Marriott Bonvoy Boundless Credit Card from Chase ($95 annual fee): 3 Free Night Awards after $3,000 on eligible purchases within 3 months, each good at a property with a redemption level up to 50,000 points per night. Chase adds up to $100 in airline statement credits through 6/30/2027 after $500 in eligible airline purchases.
  • Marriott Bonvoy Bountiful Credit Card from Chase ($250 annual fee): 85,000 bonus points after $4,000 in purchases in the first 3 months.
  • Marriott Bonvoy Bold Credit Card from Chase (no annual fee): 45,000 bonus points after $1,000 on eligible purchases within 3 months.

When do Marriott card offers go up?

On the Amex side, the history has two clear seasons. Marriott's card page showed elevated Brilliant and Bevy offers in spring and again in late summer, with a standard or tiered offer in between. Chase's Boundless moved on a different calendar, with its 5 Free Night Award offer running in the first quarter of 2026.

A quick note on how to read the dates below. The archive captures the page every so often, not every day, so "by March 18" means the first archived copy that showed the new offer. The end dates are different: those are Amex's own "offer ends" dates, printed on the page at the time.

Marriott Bonvoy Brilliant offer history

This is the card with the clearest pattern, so it's the one I'd plan around.

From January to early March 2025, Marriott's page showed the Brilliant at 95,000 bonus points after $6,000 in 6 months. By March 18, 2025, that had jumped to 185,000 points on the same spend, with an end date of 5/14/2025. The June and July 2025 copies showed a tiered offer: "up to 150,000," split as 100,000 points after $6,000 and 50,000 more after another $2,000.

By August 6, 2025, it was back at 185,000 points, this time ending 9/24/2025. From late September 2025 through March 11, 2026, the page showed 100,000 points.

Then came the high point in the archive. By March 25, 2026, Marriott's page showed the Brilliant at 200,000 bonus points after $6,000 in 6 months, ending 5/13/2026. Of every Brilliant offer in the archived copies from January 2025 onward, that's the largest.

After it ended, the tiered "up to 150,000" structure came back for the summer. By August 7, 2026, the current 150,000 points plus a $250 statement credit had replaced it.

So in points alone, today's offer sits below the 200,000 from spring 2026 and the two 185,000 runs in 2025. It's still well above the 95,000 and 100,000 standard offers the page showed in the quieter months, and it's the only one in the archive with a statement credit attached.

Marriott Bonvoy Bevy offer history

The Bevy has moved in lockstep with the Brilliant: same windows, same end dates. Its standard offer on Marriott's page was 85,000 points after $5,000 in 6 months, shown from January to early March 2025 and again from late September 2025 through March 11, 2026.

The elevated runs were 155,000 points by March 18, 2025 (ending 5/14/2025), a tiered "up to 135,000" in June and July 2025, 155,000 again by August 6, 2025 (ending 9/24/2025), and 175,000 by March 25, 2026 (ending 5/13/2026). That 175,000 is the highest Bevy offer in the archive. Today's is 125,000 points plus a $150 statement credit, ending 9/30/2026.

Marriott Bonvoy Business offer history

The Business card doesn't follow the personal cards' calendar as neatly. In January and early February 2025, Marriott's page showed 3 Free Night Awards after $6,000 in 6 months. By February 18, 2025, it showed 125,000 points after $8,000 in 6 months, ending 3/12/2025. The March through July 2025 copies were back at 3 Free Night Awards after $6,000. By August 6, 2025, 125,000 points after $8,000 was back, this time ending 10/22/2025. From November 2025 it switched to a tiered "up to 125,000" offer: 75,000 points after $6,000, plus 50,000 more after another $3,000.

2026 got more interesting. From late January through March 11, it was 3 Free Night Awards after $6,000. By March 25 it was "up to 5 Free Night Awards": 3 after $6,000, and 2 more after another $3,000.

By mid-May it changed again to 150,000 bonus points and a $125 statement credit after $8,000, ending 7/15/26. The tiered "up to 125,000" offer was back in the August copies. Today's 100,000 points plus 1 Free Night Award runs to 11/4/26.

Marriott Bonvoy Boundless offer history

Chase's $95 card has rotated between free night offers and points offers rather than climbing and falling on one scale. The baseline has been 3 Free Night Awards after $3,000 in 3 months, which is what the page showed in January 2025 and what Chase's own page shows today.

The elevated versions in the archived copies:

  1. February and early March 2025: a $150 statement credit after the first purchase plus 100,000 bonus points after $3,000.
  2. June 2025, and again November 2025: 3 Free Night Awards after $3,000 within 3 months, plus 50,000 bonus points after $6,000 within 6 months.
  3. Late September and early October 2025: 125,000 bonus points plus 1 Free Night Award after $3,000.
  4. Archived copies from January 19 to March 11, 2026: 5 Free Night Awards after $3,000, which Marriott's page described as a total value of up to 250,000 points, plus up to $100 in airline credits.
  5. Archived copies from March 25 to May 14, 2026: up to 4 Free Night Awards, with the fourth after $4,000 total within 4 months.
  6. June 7 to August 6, 2026: 125,000 bonus points plus 1 Free Night Award after $3,000, plus up to $100 in airline credits.
  7. August 7 to September 4, 2026: 4 Free Night Awards after $3,000, which Marriott's page put at a total value of 200,000 points, plus up to $100 in airline credits.

Marriott Bonvoy Bold offer history

The no-fee Bold has a 30,000-point baseline on Marriott's page. It has spiked several times, including 60,000 points plus a Free Night after $2,000 in February 2025, 60,000 points in late September and early October 2025, 2 Free Night Awards after $1,000 from January to March 11, 2026, and 60,000 points after $1,000 in the June and early August 2026 copies. Today it's 45,000 after $1,000, above the baseline but below those spikes.

The rules that decide whether you get the bonus

This matters more than the timing, so read it before you pick a window. Chase's Boundless terms say the card isn't available to you if you currently hold, or received a new cardmember bonus within the last 24 months on, the Boundless, the Bold, or the older Marriott Premier cards.

The same terms block the Boundless bonus if you were approved for the Brilliant, Bevy or Business in the last 90 days, or received a new cardmember or upgrade bonus on one of them in the last 24 months. The Bountiful's terms carry 30-day, 90-day and 24-month rules against the Amex Marriott cards too, and a 24-month rule on the Bountiful itself.

In plain terms, Chase's side looks back at your Amex Marriott history. If you earn a Brilliant bonus, Chase's own terms put the Boundless and Bountiful bonuses out of reach for the next 24 months. Amex's offer terms have their own eligibility language, so read that section on the application before you submit.

When I'd apply for each card

Here's what I'd do.

If you want the Brilliant or Bevy and you're ready now, the current offer is live through September 30, 2026. It's not the 200,000 from last spring, but it's well above the 100,000 standard Brilliant offer the page showed from late September 2025 to March 2026, and the $250 credit comes on top. If Marriott is where you stay anyway, I'd take it rather than gamble on the next window.

If you can wait and you're only chasing the largest number, the archive's elevated Amex offers appeared by late March and by early August in both 2025 and 2026, with end dates in mid-May and late September. Missing a window has meant months at the standard offer.

If you want both an Amex and a Chase Marriott card, go by the Chase terms above, which block the Chase bonus for 24 months after an Amex Marriott bonus. For the Boundless, 3 Free Night Awards has been the baseline. Marriott's page still showed 4 Free Night Awards on September 4, 2026, and Chase's page shows 3 today, so if you were planning around the 4, it has come off.

If you're a business owner, the Business card's 100,000 plus a Free Night runs to November 4, 2026, so there's no rush to decide this week.

Check the live offer on the issuer's page the day you apply. They change, and the archive shows they sometimes change mid-month.
