A targeted Amex Offer pays a $225 statement credit when you spend $1,250 or more with ITA Airways by November 30, 2026. If you're planning a trip to Italy from the U.S., that's real money back on a ticket you'd buy anyway. The offer is targeted, so it won't be on every card, and the purchase rules are strict: book on ITA's own site or app, from a U.S. departure, in dollars.

Deal Details

  • What you get: a one-time $225 statement credit.
  • What you spend: $1,250 or more with ITA Airways, in one purchase or several, on the card you enrolled.
  • Deadline: the purchases must be made by November 30, 2026. The flights themselves can be later.
  • Who sees it: it's targeted, and the terms say enrollment is limited.

The Rules That Can Cost You the Credit

  1. Book directly with ITA. The terms cover ITA Airways-marketed flights booked on the U.S. website, ita-airways.com, or in the ITA Airways U.S. app. Bookings through a travel agent, partner site or other third party don't count, and neither do tickets bought by phone, in person at airport ticket offices, in lounges or on board a flight.
  2. The flight has to start in the U.S.
  3. The charge has to be in U.S. dollars.

How to Take Advantage

  1. Open the Amex app or your online account and look through the Amex Offers on each card. Targeted offers vary from card to card.
  2. If the ITA Airways offer is there, add it to the card you'll pay with. Purchases made before you add it, or on a different card, won't count.
  3. Book your U.S. departure on ita-airways.com or the ITA app, in dollars, and reach $1,250 by November 30, 2026.

Our Amex Offers guide explains how adding and redeeming these offers works if you haven't used them before.

Why This Deal Matters

The credit lowers the price of a trip you were already planning, and because you can split the $1,250 across several bookings, a family or a couple flying separately can reach it together on the enrolled card.

What it shouldn't do is change where you're going. If your trip starts in Europe, or you were going to book through a travel site, the offer doesn't apply.

Who Should Book

Book if you have a trip from the U.S. on ITA in your plans and the offer shows on one of your cards. Skip it if you'd be buying a flight only to earn the credit. Check every Amex card you hold today, add the offer, and get the purchase in by November 30, 2026.
