Allegiant just announced 9 new nonstop routes to Florida launching in February 2027, and introductory one-way fares start at $49. If you've been eyeing a cheap Florida escape, this is worth booking before seats and low fares disappear.

The biggest winners are Boston and Providence. Both cities are getting 3 new nonstop routes each, giving Northeast travelers a lot more flexibility for a spring beach trip. Cincinnati gets the only year-round addition, flying nonstop to Orlando (MCO) starting February 12, 2027. Everything else on this list is seasonal or limited-run, so don't expect these routes to stick around past spring.

Here's the full rundown of new routes and start dates:

  • Cincinnati (CVG) to Orlando (MCO): February 12, 2027, year-round
  • Grand Forks (GFK) to Orlando Sanford (SFB): February 10 through April 17, 2027
  • Boston (BOS) to Orlando Sanford (SFB): February 13 through April 24, 2027
  • Boston (BOS) to Punta Gorda (PGD): February 13 through April 24, 2027
  • Boston (BOS) to St. Pete-Clearwater (PIE): February 13 through April 24, 2027
  • Providence (PVD) to Fort Lauderdale (FLL): February 13 through April 24, 2027
  • Providence (PVD) to Orlando Sanford (SFB): February 13 through April 25, 2027
  • Providence (PVD) to Sarasota (SRQ): February 13 through April 24, 2027
  • Portsmouth (PSM) to Fort Lauderdale (FLL): February 20 through May 1, 2027

Seven of these nine routes only run for about 10 weeks, so if you want in on the $49 fares, book sooner rather than later. Also worth flagging: several routes land at secondary airports. Orlando Sanford (SFB) is not the same as Orlando International (MCO), and Punta Gorda (PGD) sits well south of the main Fort Myers/Tampa corridor. Check the airport location before you lock in a rental car or hotel nearby. For a full breakdown of what flying Allegiant is actually like, see our Allegiant Air review.

Here's the points angle most outlets are missing. Allegiant is an ultra-low-cost carrier, so it doesn't partner with major transferable points programs, and its own myAllegiant rewards aren't worth chasing for a one-off trip. Your best move is booking the fare directly on Allegiant.com, then putting the charge on a card that earns bonus points on travel purchases and includes trip protections, since Allegiant's add-on fees for bags and seats can erase the savings fast. A card like the Chase Sapphire Preferred earns extra points on travel spend and includes trip cancellation coverage a budget carrier won't offer on its own. If you're building a card strategy around trips like this, our beginner's guide to points and miles is a good place to start, and travelers who want lounge access or better protections on connecting itineraries should look at the Capital One Venture X, which also earns well on travel purchases.

Tickets for all nine routes are live now on Allegiant.com. With fares this low and schedules this short, don't sit on it if one of these cities is on your list for next spring.
