Air Canada and United Airlines will add six U.S.-Canada routes for summer 2027 under their Transborder Joint Business Agreement. Air Canada operates three of them and United operates three. The airlines' plan to renew and expand the agreement still needs regulatory approval.
Air Canada's Three New Routes
- Toronto to Louisville: April 28 to October 31, 2027. Service begins in late April and increases to daily in May.
- Montreal to Indianapolis: daily, June 1 to September 30, 2027.
- Edmonton to Newark: four times a week, June 1 to October 17, 2027.
United's Three New Routes
United will add seasonal Newark to St. John's service, plus Denver to Ottawa and Denver to Quebec City.
Approval and Sales
Air Canada and United have agreed to renew and expand their joint business agreement, and an application for approval has been submitted to Transport Canada. Air Canada's release doesn't say the routes are on sale.
Other Changes in the Release
Air Canada will also upgrade its Edmonton to San Francisco route to the Airbus A220. United plans more Washington Dulles to Quebec City flights and a 65 percent increase in daily seats between Denver and Winnipeg.
