Flying Blue is valued here at 1.4 cents a point. That figure is a third-party estimate published in September 2026, not our own priced sample; Round 63 re-checks it against several published valuations. This is one of the few programs on the site carrying an outside valuation instead of one of our own. Flying Blue prices its awards dynamically, so there is no published award chart to value, and a figure of our own would need both halves of a pair: an award price, and the cash fare for the same seat on the same flight on the same day. We have the award half, read on 8 and 9 September 2026: thirteen award prices across five routes, all one way for Tuesday 20 October 2026, one adult. The routes were Paris CDG to Amsterdam, Paris CDG to Madrid, Paris CDG to New York JFK, Amsterdam to Tokyo Narita, and Amsterdam to Johannesburg, each priced in economy and in the Business Standard and Business Flex fare families, with their own taxes and carrier charges. The cheapest was Paris CDG to Amsterdam in economy at 13,000 miles plus EUR 44.89. The most expensive was Amsterdam to Johannesburg at 42,000 miles plus EUR 187.48. Award prices on their own are not a valuation. A cash price taken from a comparison site is a different product sold on a different basis, so dividing one into the other would produce a number that looked like our other valuations without being one. The estimate above stands here until we can quote cash fares for the same seats.
