Why We Choose It
The Citi AAdvantage Executive is the right card for travelers who fly American Airlines several times a year and value lounge access. Admirals Club membership alone, which now extends to the cardholder plus up to two guests, justifies a meaningful chunk of the $595 annual fee for AA loyalists. Outside that profile, the card is harder to justify against more flexible premium options.
