As of October 1, 2026, IHG One Rewards is running two targeted offers for paid stays from September 30 through December 31, 2026. One is a Diamond fast track: stay 10 paid nights and you get Diamond status through the end of 2027. The other doubles your elite qualifying nights, up to 10 bonus nights. Both are targeted, so the first step is finding out whether your account has them.
Deal Details
- Diamond fast track: 10 paid nights between September 30 and December 31, 2026 earns Diamond status through the end of 2027.
- Double elite qualifying nights: paid nights in the same window count double toward status, capped at 10 bonus nights.
- What doesn't count: award nights and Points & Cash stays, for either offer.
- Targeted, with registration: IHG's registration page says many offers are only for members who received a specific, targeted communication from IHG, and that registering doesn't guarantee the points or miles offered if you aren't eligible under the offer terms.
How to Take Advantage
- Check your email for an IHG message about either promotion.
- Register for the offer you received through IHG's registration form.
- Book paid rates, not points or Points & Cash.
- Complete the stays by December 31, 2026.
Why This Deal Matters
The fast track is the bigger prize. Ten paid nights by December 31 is a lot for a leisure traveler, but it's very doable for anyone with a few work trips on the calendar. Say you take two four-night work trips and one two-night weekend at IHG hotels on paid rates before December 31. That covers the whole requirement.
The double nights offer is easier to use but caps out at 10 bonus nights. It's most useful if you're within reach of the next tier and want to close the gap before the year ends.
