MaxMyPoint and StayWithPoints both watch hotel award availability and email you when award rooms open up, and both cover Hilton, Hyatt, Marriott and IHG. They differ in how you set the watch and what they charge: paid plans start at $3.99 a month on MaxMyPoint and $9.99 on StayWithPoints. The MaxMyPoint and StayWithPoints plans and prices below come from each tool's own pages, read on October 19, 2026. For flights, see our guide to the best flight award search tools.
MaxMyPoint
MaxMyPoint describes itself as tracking rewards availability at IHG, Hilton, Marriott and Hyatt hotels, showing the percentage of days bookable with points over the following year and the point value, with data refreshed daily. Its help center says the free version lets you set up one hotel alert, and two paid plans offer more alerts and ad-free browsing. You can cancel at any time, and the cancellation takes effect from the next billing date.
Its pricing page lists three plans. Member is free, with 1 alert checked every 6 hours and 10 hotel detail views a day. Gold costs $3.99 a month or $39.99 a year, with 10 alerts checked every 3 hours, 20 views a day and no ads. Platinum costs $7.99 a month, with 25 alerts checked as soon as possible, 50 views a day, no ads, and daily-change and holiday alerts.
Alert types include a full-stay alert and an any-day alert for dates in your window. For Hyatt hotels it also offers cash-based price alerts, and the help center says Hilton and Marriott are coming.
StayWithPoints
StayWithPoints says you can browse Hilton, Hyatt, Marriott and IHG points calendars for free, then watch exact dates or a flexible month and get an email when every night of the stay is at or below your points limit. Its pricing page lists:
- Free ($0): public hotel browsing, points calendars and one exact-date watch. No credit card required.
- Starter ($9.99 a month or $99 a year): 25 exact-date watches.
- Pro ($14.99 a month or $149 a year): 40 watch units and any-day month watches.
- Flex ($39.99 a month or $399 a year): 100 watch units and multiple any-day month watches.
An exact-date watch uses one unit. A flexible month uses one unit for each eligible check-in date, so a 31-day month can use up to 31. The site shows the stay length, up to a five-night maximum, and displays points per night. It doesn't book for you: you complete the reservation with the hotel's own loyalty program.
Awayz
Awayz's site, awayz.com, describes the app as helping users maximize earnings from spending and travel through points and miles. We couldn't confirm its hotel coverage or plan prices from its own site, so check the app for its plans, prices and coverage before you pay.
Which One Fits
Pick by how you watch. If you want a single alert and don't mind the free limits, both tools have a free tier: one alert on MaxMyPoint, one exact-date watch on StayWithPoints. If you track a flexible month on StayWithPoints, the $14.99 Pro plan is the first that includes any-day month watches, and a 31-day month can use up to 31 of its 40 units. If you want Hyatt cash-price alerts, MaxMyPoint lists them.
Either way, you still book through the hotel program, so confirm the room on the program's own site before you transfer points.
