Disney raised prices at both U.S. resorts on October 6. At Walt Disney World, the Disney price increase covers all four annual passes and the top one-day ticket. At Disneyland, some mid-range one-day tickets, the Park Hopper option and Lightning Lane Multi Pass cost more, while the cheapest and priciest one-day tickets stayed where they were.

Every price below is the one Disney's own ticket and pass pages show today. Where Disney shows only the new price, that's the one you'll see here. If you're holding a trip for late 2026 or 2027, here's what each item costs now and what to check before you buy.

What Changed at Walt Disney World

One-day tickets. Disney's one-park, one-day calendar starts at $119, on select August and September 2027 dates at Animal Kingdom. The top of the calendar rose on October 6 and is now $229, which Disney charges for Magic Kingdom on December 25 and December 31, 2027, and for EPCOT on December 31, 2027. Those prices are for ages 10 and up, before tax, and they move by date and park.

Annual passes. All four Walt Disney World annual passes cost more as of October 6. Disney's comparison page lists them at:

  • Disney Pixie Dust Pass: $499 plus tax (Florida residents only)
  • Disney Pirate Pass: $909 plus tax (Florida residents only)
  • Disney Sorcerer Pass: $1,139 plus tax (Florida residents and eligible Disney Vacation Club Members)
  • Disney Incredi-Pass: $1,749 plus tax (open to all guests)

Florida residents can spread a pass over 12 monthly payments at 0% APR after a $205 down payment. Disney puts the monthly amount at $28 for the Pixie Dust Pass, $64 for the Pirate Pass, $85 for the Sorcerer Pass and $139 for the Incredi-Pass.

Lightning Lane Premier Pass. The top Premier Pass price went up on October 6 too. Disney sells Lightning Lane passes only in the My Disney Experience app, where it shows prices up to 21 days ahead, and it says Premier Pass prices vary by theme park and date. Our Lightning Lane Premier Pass review covers when the pass earns its price and when the cheaper Lightning Lane options do the same job.

What Changed at Disneyland

One-day tickets. Disney's Disneyland ticket page still says a one-day ticket runs $104 to $224, depending on the date. Neither end moved. Several of the date tiers in between went up on October 6, so check the calendar for your exact day rather than assuming last month's price.

Park Hopper. The Park Hopper option rose on October 6. Disney's Magic Key page now prices its lowest-tier one-day Park Hopper ticket at $179.

Lightning Lane Multi Pass. Disney's Disneyland Lightning Lane page says Multi Pass starts at $35 per ticket, per day, and that the price varies by date. That starting price rose on October 6.

Magic Key passes. Magic Key prices didn't change. Disney lists the Inspire Key at $1,899, the Believe Key at $1,474 and the Explore Key at $999. Multi-day one-park tickets also kept their prices.

What You Should Do

For a Walt Disney World trip, pick your dates first and price them on Disney's calendar. The jump sits at the top, so a Christmas or New Year's Eve 2027 visit to Magic Kingdom carries the $229 one-day price, while the $119 floor sits on select August and September 2027 dates at Animal Kingdom. If you're weighing an annual pass, compare your planned visits against the new pass prices, not the ones you remember.

For Disneyland, the cheapest $104 days are still on the calendar. If you want the Park Hopper option or Multi Pass, budget for the higher prices above.

Paying for It

Disney charges go on a card like any other purchase, so pay with the card that earns the most on what you're buying. Say a family spends $1,000 on Disney tickets: a card earning 2 points per dollar on that charge returns 2,000 points, against 1,000 on a 1-point card. Check how your card codes Disney ticket purchases before you count on a bonus rate.

Bottom Line

Disney's October 6 increases are in effect now. If you're buying a Walt Disney World annual pass, count the visits you'll actually make and weigh them against the new prices above before you commit. If you're planning Disneyland on a budget, find the $104 days first and decide on the Park Hopper option after. Price your exact dates on Disney's site before you book, and check the My Disney Experience app for the Premier Pass price on your day.
