New Delta SkyMiles American Express cardholders can now see bonuses as high as 125,000 miles on the Delta SkyMiles Reserve Business card, and as high as 100,000 on the Platinum Business, 85,000 on the Gold Business and 80,000 on the personal Gold. Each one needs spending in the first six months. Welcome offers vary and you may not be eligible for an offer; Amex's Delta Gold page says you apply to find out your exact offer amount. The business card offers follow the limited-time ones we covered in Delta SkyMiles business card offers through November 4, which ended on that date.

Deal Details

Here's what each card shows right now:

  • Delta SkyMiles Gold (personal): as high as 80,000 bonus miles after $2,000 in purchases in the first six months. It also has a $0 introductory annual fee for the first year, then $150. Our Delta SkyMiles Gold review covers the card in full.

How to Take Advantage

  1. Pick the card whose spending requirement you can meet with purchases you already plan to make in the first six months.
  2. Apply. Amex's Delta Gold page says "Find out your offer." Amex tells you if you're approved and what your welcome offer amount is, and then you choose whether to accept the card.

Why This Deal Matters

The required spending runs from $6,000 on the Gold Business to $15,000 on the Reserve Business, and the personal Gold needs $2,000. Because offers vary, the number you see after applying can be lower than the "as high as" figures above.

Who Should Apply

The business offers suit owners who already plan to spend $6,000, $10,000 or $15,000 over six months and are comfortable with a $150, $350 or $650 annual fee after any intro period. The personal Gold suits someone who can spend $2,000 in six months.
