A targeted Amex Offer is paying 30,000 American Express Membership Rewards points when you spend $2,500 or more with All Nippon Airways (ANA) by November 30, 2026. If a Japan trip is already on your list, this is a good reason to book it directly with ANA rather than through a travel site. The catch is that not everyone has it, so check your cards before you plan around it.

The Offer

  • What you get: 30,000 bonus Membership Rewards points.
  • What you spend: $2,500 or more with ANA, on the card you added the offer to.
  • Deadline: make the purchase by November 30, 2026. The flight itself can be later.
  • Who sees it: it's targeted, so it shows up on some cards and not others.

Some cardholders may see a version of this offer that pays a $300 statement credit instead of the points.

The Rules That Matter

Three of the offer's terms can cost you the bonus:

  1. Book directly with ANA. Purchases through third parties or affiliated agents don't count.
  2. The flight has to start in the United States.
  3. The charge has to be in U.S. dollars.

How to Get It

  1. Open the Amex app or your online account and look at the Amex Offers on each of your cards. Targeted offers differ from card to card, so check them all.
  2. If the ANA offer is there, add it to the card you plan to pay with. An offer you haven't added won't trigger.
  3. Book your flights from the U.S. directly with ANA on that card, spending $2,500 or more by November 30, 2026.

Our Amex Offers guide covers how adding and redeeming these offers works if you're new to them.

Is It Worth It?

Say you're already planning to spend $2,500 on ANA tickets for two people. The offer puts 30,000 Membership Rewards points on top of whatever your card normally earns on airfare, for a trip you were taking anyway. Those points transfer to airline and hotel partners, which is where Membership Rewards do their best work, as our Membership Rewards vs. Ultimate Rewards comparison explains.

What I wouldn't do is buy $2,500 of ANA flights just to earn the points. And if your trip starts outside the U.S., it doesn't qualify at all.

Bottom Line

If you have an ANA trip from the U.S. coming up, check every Amex card you hold today. Add the offer if it's there, book directly with ANA, and get the $2,500 in by November 30, 2026.
