As of October 1, 2026, U.S. American Express Business Card Members, including holders of the Amex Business Platinum, can use a set of 10 ready-made Perplexity Skills for tasks like cash flow forecasting and tax prep, provided they pay for a Perplexity Enterprise subscription. Two offers come with it, both ending March 29, 2027: a $125 Amex Offer statement credit on a Perplexity Enterprise purchase of $325 or more, and a one-time 1,000 bonus Computer Credits. Perplexity announced the partnership on its blog and posted the terms, which it says are final terms provided by American Express.

What you get is a discount and a bundle of templates, which matter most to business owners who already pay for Perplexity or were about to.

What Business Card Members Get

The Skills are prebuilt workflows inside Perplexity Computer. Instead of writing a long prompt, you pick a task, fill in a short form and let Computer pull the data it needs. Perplexity lists 10:

  • Cash flow forecasting
  • Tax-season prep
  • Vendor benchmarking
  • Scenario planning
  • Reconciliation of transactions against invoices and bills
  • Marketing campaign generation
  • Demand forecasting
  • Channel ROAS (return on ad spend) review
  • Operations performance monitoring
  • Hiring: job descriptions and candidate screening

Perplexity's partnership page says the collection was curated by American Express. Running a Skill uses Perplexity Computer Credits, and Perplexity says how many depends on how complex the task is.

How to Get Access

You need three things: a Perplexity Enterprise subscription, an active American Express Business Card, and a link between the two. Perplexity says eligible members open Personal CFO from the connectors page and link their Business Card through Plaid. Perplexity describes the connection as read-only and encrypted, and you can revoke it at any time.

Two eligibility lines from the terms. Corporate Card Members are not eligible. And if you cancel or don't renew your Perplexity Enterprise subscription, you lose access to the Skills.

Some Skills need more than your card. Perplexity's example is cash flow forecasting, where a full forecast requires connecting your business's operating bank account through Plaid, and an accounting tool adds invoice and bill details.

The $125 Amex Offer and the 1,000 Bonus Credits

The Amex Offer. Earn a one-time $125 statement credit after you use an enrolled, eligible American Express Business Card to make a single qualifying purchase of $325 or more on a Perplexity Enterprise Pro or Enterprise Max plan by March 29, 2027. The purchase has to be made on Perplexity's website; in-app and app store purchases don't count. Enrollment is required and may be limited, so look for the offer in your card's Amex Offers before you buy.

The bonus credits. Pay for a Perplexity Enterprise subscription directly at Perplexity.ai with your Amex card between October 1, 2026, and March 29, 2027, and you get a one-time 1,000 Computer Credits. New and existing Enterprise Pro and Enterprise Max subscriptions both qualify. The terms limit it to one bonus per Perplexity account, not per seat, and say it can take up to 90 days after the charge for the credits to show up. The credits expire 60 calendar days after they're awarded, and canceling your subscription forfeits them.

That 60-day expiration is the catch. The credits can take up to 90 days to arrive and then last 60 days, so plan to use them when they land.

What the Offer Is Worth

Perplexity's pricing page lists Enterprise Pro at $34 a month per seat and Enterprise Max at $271 a month per seat, both when billed annually. The $125 credit needs a single purchase of $325 or more, so whether you qualify depends on how many seats you buy and how you're billed. Check the size of the charge before you count on the credit.

Say you were already planning to buy Perplexity Enterprise for your team this year. Then the $125 credit and the bonus credits are found money, and the Skills save you some prompt writing. If you weren't, this offer alone isn't a reason to start an auto-renewing subscription.

Amex has gone down this road before. Its Business Platinum and Business Gold carry up to $300 a year in ChatGPT Business credits, which is a yearly benefit rather than a one-time offer. If you're weighing the card itself, our Amex Business Platinum review goes through the credits that actually offset its fee.

Who Should Act

If you pay for Perplexity Enterprise with a U.S. Amex business card, check your Amex Offers, enroll before you renew or buy, and pay on Perplexity's website by March 29, 2027. If you don't use Perplexity yet, try the Skills only if one of the 10 tasks is something you'd otherwise pay someone to do. Amex's U.S. business cards include the Amex Business Platinum and the Amex Business Gold; check each card's Amex Offers, since enrollment may be limited.
