  • Hawaiian's refreshed international Suites menu by chef Dell Valdez starts October 21, along with a new First Class menu on select flights departing Hawaiʻi.

Alaska and Hawaiian are rolling out new chef-designed menus for international Suites guests and select Hawaiian First Class flights, plus a refreshed international Business Class wine list. The airlines announced the changes on October 15, 2026, and the new Tokyo Narita and Seoul Incheon dishes are already open for pre-order.

Alaska's New Dishes for Tokyo and Seoul

Chef Brady Ishiwata Williams, a Seattle-based James Beard Award winner, has worked with Alaska since 2025. Alaska says his beef entree is already a guest favorite on flights from Seattle to Tokyo, Seoul and London.

His new dishes for international Suites guests include these two. Miso Glazed Black Cod with kimchi fried rice and traditional banchan is for flights to Tokyo Narita. Galbi-Glazed Chicken with fried rice and banchan is for flights to Seoul Incheon. Alaska says the new menu is available now for pre-order.

Seattle chef Renee Erickson is next. Alaska says her seasonal Suites menus are coming soon on flights between Seattle and London, and on Athens and Paris when that service launches in May 2027.

Hawaiian's Suites and First Class Menus Start October 21

Chef Dell Valdez is introducing a refreshed international Suites menu on Hawaiian starting October 21. The dishes named are Ahi au Poivre with celery root puree, Huli Huli BBQ Chicken with kimchee fried rice, Grilled Pork Medallions with a soy-balsamic honey glaze, and Blackened Tofu with Brussels sprouts and orzo.

Also starting October 21, on select First Class flights departing Hawaiʻi, chef Keaka Lee of Honolulu's Kapa Hale brings dishes including a Loco Moco for breakfast and Braised Beef with Roasted ʻUlu (breadfruit) for dinner. On Hawaiian, chef Sheldon Simeon is also creating pre-order meals for Main Cabin guests.

The Wine List

Alaska and Hawaiian say the international Business Class wine program is refreshed this fall. Wines named include Paul Hobbs West Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir and Viña Cobos Cocodrilo Corte Red Blend from Argentina.

How Pre-Ordering Works

Where pre-ordering is offered, you pick your meal in the Alaska and Hawaiian mobile app, from two weeks before departure up to 20 hours before. Suites guests will be able to choose from up to five entrees on eligible domestic and international flights. The airlines say Hawaiian international Business Class guests get the same expanded pre-select options that Alaska guests already have, starting the week after the announcement.

What to Check Before You Book

These menus are tied to a cabin. Check your flight's cabin and route before you count on a specific dish: the Alaska dishes named are for Tokyo Narita and Seoul Incheon, and the new Hawaiian Suites and First Class menus start October 21.
