American is giving new AAdvantage Business accounts 15,000 bonus miles when the company registers with promo code GET15K by October 31, 2026. The program is free to join and earns miles for your business on employee travel. Getting the bonus is the easy part. Using the miles is harder, and that's where the Citi AAdvantage Business card comes in.
Deal Details
- The bonus: 15,000 AAdvantage bonus miles for the company.
- The code: GET15K, entered when you register for the AAdvantage Business program.
- The deadline: 11:59 p.m. CDT on October 31, 2026. American says enrollments received after that aren't eligible.
- Who qualifies: new AAdvantage Business accounts only. Existing program members can't get it.
- Once per business: each business is eligible for one enrollment bonus offer, and this one can't be combined with any other AAdvantage Business enrollment offer.
- When the miles post: within 6 to 8 weeks after the promotion period ends.
- Status: these are bonus miles, so they don't count toward AAdvantage status qualification or Million Miler status.
The Catch: Activity Requirements
American's offer terms say members must meet the program's activity requirements to access bonus and earned program miles, and that includes this enrollment bonus. The minimum is 5 active travelers and $5,000 USD in eligible program travel from those travelers in a calendar year.
For a solo owner or a two-person shop, that's a real hurdle. American's program page says these requirements are waived for Citi / AAdvantage Business World Elite Mastercard cardmembers. The same page says they're also waived for businesses that have qualified for the AAdvantage Business Select tier.
How to Take Advantage
- Have the right person register. American's offer page says registration must be completed by the individual responsible for your company's travel program, and its program page says you need to be an authorized representative of the business with a government-issued tax ID for the company.
- Register through American's AAdvantage Business offers page and enter GET15K by October 31, 2026.
- If your business won't reach 5 active travelers and $5,000 in eligible American travel in a calendar year, look at the Citi AAdvantage Business card before you count on the miles.
Why This Deal Matters
American's program page says the business can redeem its miles for flights on aa.com or transfer them to registered employees for their own use. Travelers who register can also earn extra Loyalty Points toward their own status, on top of what they already earn as AAdvantage members.
If you already hold the Citi AAdvantage Business card, this is about as easy as a bonus gets: register, enter the code and wait for the miles. If you don't, 15,000 miles alone isn't a reason to apply. Judge the card on what it does for your business; our look at the card's Loyalty Points double dip is a good place to start, and our AAdvantage program guide covers how to spend the miles.
Who Should Enroll
Enroll if your business flies American and isn't in AAdvantage Business yet, especially if you hold the Citi AAdvantage Business card or plan to get it. Skip it if your company is already a member, since existing members aren't eligible. The code works through October 31, 2026.
