Amex Platinum Benefits

The Amex Platinum card has an annual fee of $695 and gives you access to a range of travel-related benefits.

· 125,000 points welcome bonus after you have spent $8,000 within the first 6 months of opening your account.

· 5x rewards points for each dollar you spend on flights booked with airlines directly. (Up to a value of $500,000 a year, then 1 point per dollar afterward.)

· 5x points for flights booked using American Express Travel. (Up to a value of $500,000 a year, then 1 point per dollar afterward.)

· 5x Amex points for every dollar you spend on hotel bookings using Amex Travel.

· 1x point for each dollar spent on other purchases.

· $200 credit for airline fees.

Capital One Venture X Airport Lounge Access

As a holder of this card, you and two guests will access complimentary access to Capital One lounges. You will also be able to use Plaza Premium lounges and bring two guests (charges will apply if you want to bring in more than 2 people. You will also be able to access Priority Pass Select privileges (not including restaurants.) Authorized users of the card will be able to access the same benefits.

Amex Platinum Airport Lounge Access.

With your Amex Platinum card, you will gain complimentary access to Centurion lounges but will have to pay for guests unless you have hit the spending requirement of $75,000 annually to access extra lounge privileges.

You will also be able to access complimentary Priority pass membership for yourself and two guests, (not including restaurants.)

Access to various other lounges is included, for example, Delta SkyClubs when you are flying Delta. Escape, Airspace, Lufthansa, Plaza Premium and Global Lounge Collection lounges are also accessible for cardholders. Policies for guest access and qualifications for entry will depend on each company’s policy.
