What Happened
On August 11, 2025, Hyatt announced that World of Hyatt members could earn and redeem points at participating Bunkhouse Hotels, which join the program in phases. To mark it, Hyatt made four limited-time FIND experiences available by auction, bid in World of Hyatt points. Bidding started at 5,000 points and moved in 1,000-point steps, and the auctions closed on August 18, 2025. Those lots are over, and there isn't a second chance at them.
The Four Experiences
- Hotel San Fernando, Mexico City: a two-night takeover for you and up to 23 guests at the Michelin Key hotel in Condesa, with a rooftop cocktail class and a rooftop brunch.
- Hotel Saint Augustine, Houston: a three-night stay in an Atelier Suite for two, with a curator-led tour of the Menil Collection.
- Hotel Saint Cecilia or Carpenter Hotel, Austin: a four-night stay with a private listening session and Austin barbecue.
- Hotel San Cristóbal, Todos Santos: a three-night oceanfront escape for two with a private yoga class and a sound bath.
How FIND Auctions Work
FIND is Hyatt's experiences marketplace at experiences.hyatt.com. Some listings have fixed prices, and others are auctions where members bid in points. The winning bid is paid in World of Hyatt points, and Hyatt's current listings show winning bids in points once an auction closes. Treat a bid as binding, and read the terms on the listing before you place one. Winners are also responsible for their own flights and incidentals unless the listing says otherwise.
What's on Offer Now
FIND is still active. Its limited-time page currently lists a Mexico City Formula 1 weekend with a closed winning bid of 352,000 points, and it can be sorted by bid. Open auctions come and go, so check the site for what's live.
Is Bidding Worth It?
An auction is worth it only if you'd have bought the experience anyway. A lot that sells for a six-figure number of points isn't good value unless you'd have paid the cash equivalent. Bunkhouse stays themselves are bookable and earnable now. Members earn 5 base points per eligible $1 at participating Bunkhouse Hotels, and the World of Hyatt Credit Card adds 4 bonus points per eligible $1 there. Hotel San Fernando is a Category 4 property. Confirm which Bunkhouse hotels currently participate on Hyatt's site before you book, since they're joining in phases.
